Charlotte uttered an acknowledging sound and turned on the faucet, rinsing her hands beneath it. “I'm currently in negotiations with a producer. If I can secure a suitable role, I'll inform you immediately.”

“Okay,” Scarlette nodded before departing from the scene.

Once Scarlette left the restroom, Charlotte leisurely took a paper towel and dried her hands.

While washing, she couldn't shake off the sensation that Scarlette's gaze had been fixed on her face. Was she deliberately waiting for me here to see if I overheard something earlier? If it was a private conversation, why did she answer it in the restroom?
