Amelia Pearls walked into the villa she and Ethan Dan Greg has been living since they got married. He told her he had bought the villa for them to live as couple, though he had a house he lived in before they got married.

She unlocked the door with her keys and went in. It was going towards night time already, so the sitting room was dark. She turned the lights on. She directly went upstairs, where their bedroom was.

Few metres away from their bedroom door, she began to hear some strange funny sound from the bedroom.

After Ethan made it clear that he wanted to divorce her, he rarely came home. And when he did, it was usually after she had retired to bed and he will leave very early the next morning. Like he didn't want to even see her again.

This hurt her very much but she could only swallow her grievances and only hope he would rethink his decisions after being away from her for a while.

Now, she was hearing sounds from their bedroom, it could only mean one thing; he was inside.

She was happy. Maybe he has really had a rethink about his decisions. And right now, she wanted to just go in and try to beg him again.

Feeling delighted, she hastily walked towards the bedroom door but halted her steps decisively.

The sounds were like the voices of people present in the room. And it sounded familiar. Is he not the only one in the room?

She felt her stomach churned painfully and her heart beat accelerate. For some unknown reason, she felt nervous and reluctant to open the door.

However, she still opened it and walked in.

At the very next moment, she gasped in shock at the scene in front of her.

He and a lady were both lying on the sofa. His muscular and broad figure was hovering the lady's petite frame, lying on the sofa.

When they heard the door open, they swiftly turned to look at the door. After seeing who pushed the door open, their shocked gaze turned lazy and nonchalant.

They just continue what they were doing, not even sparing her a glance.

Amelia widened her eyes in disbelief and shock. She felt her legs go numb and they soon gave way. She slumped down to the floor with both hands, covering her mouth.

" Ethan..." She called slowly as tears rolled down her cheeks.

But he just looked at her nonchalantly as if she was insane and he didn't know her.

"Madison Puff, why.........."

At the top floor of a building, inside a dark room; a tall figure sat on a chair, leaning on the table in front of him. As his dark eyes were fixed on items on the desk.

On the large desk, various albums and pictures were layed on it. The pictures had the photo of a young girl. She was grinning widely as she took a big bite of a banana flavored ice cream. The ice smeared on her cheeks. while the other, she was busy ruffling the hair of a young boy on school uniform. He was trying to escape from her grip but she never gave him that chance. And the rest were pictures were she was rather standing alone in casual clothes or in uniform or rather standing with a guy or a group of people.

In all the pictures, the girl's face always had a bright smile, that made her innocent big eyes shone and revealed her clean set of well arranged white teeth.

This smile, this was the smile that attracted him. Her smile was too contagious, and matter what happens, she would always give that smile. It somehow had a way of enchanting him. A way of calming his heart and making his heartbeat accelerate.

He always wished to see that bright smile every day. He could definitely give a leg for it.

But his wish didn't come true............

" Where are you right now, snacky" He muttered.

" I hope you are happy now where ever you are? Remember i promise to keep your smile all the days of your life? That is what i am doing, are you happy? Are you still smiling?" He said, a bitter smile hang on his lips.

" Even if you are now happy, i still long to see you and ask you just one question"

" But would i see you?"

He had no answer to this. However fate might possibly give him the answer.
