"Tell me the truth, Amelia!" He growled, muscles popping out of his forehead.

" Tell you what truth, Ethan? What truth?!" She retorted.

" Is the child mine or not?"

" It's yours!" She yelled so loudly, that it hurts her throat. She closed her eyes and leaned back on the headrest.

Silence ensued between them. After a while, he broke the silence.

" Well, it doesn't matter now. I don't care" He said, and turned to leave.

Half way close to the door, he stopped, " The lawyers are bringing the papers soon. You might escape signing it the first time but don't you try to pull off any stunts. Please do well to sign them" He said. While he was talking, he didn't even bother to look at her. He was looking at the door.

When he finished talking, he opened the door and walked out.

She stared at the door in a daze. Not even the pregnancy could make him change his mind. He was hellbent on divorcing her.

"Ethan Dan, why are you doing this to me? You have always been such a caring and nice husband. What had come over you?" She lamented as her eyes brimmed with tears.

What was going to happen now? He didn't accept her child and still wants to divorce her.

Was she going to be a single mother whose child was denied by his father? How would she go through this pregnancy stages alone with any support?

How was she going to cope in this city? Was she going to be a laughing stock? What would she tell the child when he grows up to understand that he doesn't only have a mother but had a father too? How would she still have the courage to carry this pregnancy after her divorce?

Different questions reeled her mind. Tears unrestrained tears rolled down her cheeks.

She sobbed for a long time before she stopped. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand and reached out to touch her stomach.

" Don't you worry baby. Momma would do everything possible to make sure you live. Even if your father does not accept. I do and I would do anything possible to make sure you are happy and cared for. No harm would come to you" She said, with determination.

Her mother died when she was at a young age so she really didn't experience a mother's love but she would make sure her child gets the best.

Ethan strided out of the hospital in a fist of rage. What can't she just say the truth? She was such a bloody liar!

On a second thought, why was he even angry at the fact that she cheated on him and got pregnant? He didn't really love her anyway and he was even about to divorce her.

"But how did she really get pregnant?" He puzzled.

What if she was really saying the truth? Does that means the child was his? If yes, how could he divorce her, the Greg family's blood can't be outside. His family would not agree to it. Even he would not let his child be taken away.

"Ahhhh........" He groaned and kicked the car as he already walked to it. He then open the car and got in.

As he wanted to start the car engine, his phone rang. He stopped his movements and took the phone out of his pocket.

The name, which was displayed on the screen, caused his heart to skip a beat.

How could he be thinking about Amelia when his thoughts were to be directed to Madison.

If Madison finds out she is pregnant, he would be a dead meat. It would even be worser if he didn't tell her and then she finds out later. Because she definitely will.

He was caught in a dilemma. He kept the phone aside as he slammed his feet on the engine and drove off.

" What! You got her pregnant?!" Madison's voice resonated in the room.

" I am sorry. I really didn't do it intensionally, you know it. I thought i have always been careful enough" He coaxed as he held her hand.

"Don't you dare touch me! We had a plan remember?" She said as she snatched her hand from his grip.

" I know. It wasn't on intensionally. It might not even be mine" He tried to defend himself.
