"You agree with me, don't you?" William stared at her and asked, "Today, I have a surprise for you."

"..."

Alice looked at him silently.

The next second, she heard heavy footsteps slowly approaching.

Hearing the familiar footsteps, Alice's body froze, and she raised her head to look ahead.

A tall silver figure slowly walked in from outside, a pair of black eyes flashing with a ghostly light, looking at her.

It was the Mr. Cullen.

The intact and restored Mr. Cullen.

"Master, I've recovered from my illness. I've made you worry about me." The robot bowed his head to her in a gentle manner.

Alice looked at him blankly. Then, she suddenly stood up from the sofa, rushed to him and threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly.

William sat on the sofa as a strong sense of jealousy flashed across his black eyes.

However, he had to endure it. He even forced himself to remove the settings that the robot could not accept Alice’s hug.

Alice hugged him and he did not push her away. Instead, he raised his hand and patted her back lightly, "Master, I am very happy to see you again."

Alice continued to hug him tightly.

Her current mood was the most excited of the week, but she still did not make a sound.

"Master, do you need anything to drink?"

He slowly let go of Alice.

William sat there with an elegant posture, a pair of pitch-black pupils gazing deeply at Alice, staring at her lips, waiting for the moment it would open.

He almost held his breath.

Alice looked at the Mr. Cullen, and just like that, she silently looked. Even after being questioned by the Mr. Cullen three times, she did not say a word.

She lost her voice.

William sat there; his eyes dimmed from extreme disappointment.

Immediately, William stood up and pulled Alice's arm, staring at her: "Can you just answer me? Say something. It's good to say an onomatopoeia!"

His patience burned like firewood, and the fire was on the verge of going out.

A whole week.

He tried like an idiot to make her laugh and talk to him. He didn't even work for the company and kept his job aside, but she was just the same attitude.

No matter what, she refused to speak. She insisted on being a mute.

Alice looked at him passively.

"Alice, do you think this is interesting? I have done everything I can! I don't know what else I can do! " William was a little hysterical as he glared at her with his black eyes.

"Tell me, what do I need to do before you can speak?" "Or is it that what you need is not me at all? So, no matter what I do, you won't be satisfied! "William questioned as he stared at her, trying to read any emotion from her wooden face.

Psychologists say the closest person can defeat her psychological defenses.

Obviously, he was not that person.

Of course, he was the devil, so how could the devil defeat her psychological defenses?

Alice stood in front of him and watched him silently. Her eyes were dull, but the hand hanging by her side couldn't help but clench her skirt tightly.

"That's probably the reason."

Her silence caused William to be certain of his thoughts. He could not help but let out a bitter laugh as he stared at her with his black eyes, "Alice, what sort of evil have I done in my past life for someone like you to take me in?" His voice was filled with self-mockery.

No matter what he did, she was not satisfied. No matter what he did for her, she did not care.

Alice looked at her, her hands twisting her skirt even tighter.

Abruptly, William approached her and used both hands to hold her face. He glared at her with his eyes lowered and a trace of sorrow was concealed within. He said in a low voice, "I let you go the first time, so it will have the second time. I'll let you go for the second time now. Find whoever you want!"

Alice twisted the skirt by her side into a bundle of wrinkles.

William turned and shouted, "Daniel, prepare the carriage!"

He carried Alice to the carriage, where she sat beside him. William took her in an overbearing manner into his embrace.

The car drove on, and the few cars drove out of Imperial Castle at the same time, leaving through the forest.

Alice looked at the space in front of him, her face expressionless.

After an unknown amount of time, the few of them slowly stopped by the roadside.

Alice turned her head to look outside the carriage, only to see that in the distance, she saw the Miller Villa, and William had brought her to the Miller Villa.

"I can only send you here. Don't expect me to bring you to reunite with that man!"

William's cold voice sounded by her ear.

Alice sat without moving.

"Get lost!"

William said snappily.

A hint of sadness flashed past Alice's eyes. In the next second, she raised her hand slowly towards the carriage door, and her hand was grabbed from behind.

She turned her head, and William glared at her, both his hands grabbing her face, "Alice, I'll love you first, I admit it!"

"Don't let me see you again!"

Alice looked at him dumbly.

William suddenly lowered his head, grabbed her fingers and fiercely bit down.

She wasn't a stone —hearted person, so how could she not be moved?

William treated her very well now, he helped her suppress her temper. A person that could be so easily agitated was trying his hardest to talk to her in a week's time.

He was just too nice to her, but she didn't know what else she deserved from being disgraced and beaten up.

She didn't know what else she could do to respond to his feelings.

Something seemed to have always been amiss between her and William.

She was too tired.

She didn't even want to speak. Her lips felt like they weighed a thousand pounds. She didn't know if any of her words would be heard or accepted.

The current Alice only wanted a tortoise shell, and then, she would curl up and rest in it for long periods of time.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of a car screeching to a halt.

Alice turned her head in shock. She saw an open sports car stopped beside her, and the one on the driver was actually William, who had left just now.

William sat on the Driver and stared at her hands as if he was looking at an alien.

Alice looked at him in a daze.

Didn't he just walk away from the car? Why did he suddenly drive to her?

William supported himself up with one hand, and jumped down from the sports car. His two long legs walked straight in front of her, and he stared at her coldly, "Didn't you want to go see Patrick? Weren't you going to see that man? "Why not?"

Alice unconsciously took a step back.

She also didn't say that she would go find Patrick. He was the one who sent her here.

"What's going on?" William suddenly grabbed her hand. The tip of her left index finger was covered in blood. Why bite yourself?”

If he didn't bear to bite her, then why would she bear to bite herself?

"..."

Alice wanted to retract her hand, but William held on tightly.

"Alice, I gave you a chance, and told you not to appear in front of me again. Since you've appeared, don't blame me for not letting you go!" William glared at her and said arrogantly.

Alice looked at him in a daze.

He was still a domineering and unreasonable person.

It wasn't her that appeared in front of him, it was him that appeared in front of her.

She opened her mouth to speak, but her lips were still too heavy. Her throat was dry and she could not say a single word.

After experiencing the events at the shopping mall and the Underground parking lot, all her hopes had been turned into dust. She didn't want to say a single word, and the things that William had done for her this past week made a trace of warmth in her heart.

Unexpectedly, even though she wanted to say something, she was unable to do so.
