It was an electric pumpkin carriage. Even the witches couldn't get one for Cinderella with magic.

"Let's go."

William bowed to Alice, and gestured her to the car. He looked very noble while doing that, and Alice was truly infatuated with him in that moment.

She was stunned for a few seconds before she held his hand and stepped onto the pumpkin car. There were some pumpkins on the seat. It felt just like a fairy tale.

William got into the car and started driving. Alice was surprised to find that the community was full of trees overnight. It was if they were in a forest. And their views were obscured by dense trees.

Alice could only see green trees here.

She picked a leaf and found it was fake too. She could not help but look at William, who was driving the car. "What are you preparing these for? Where are we going?"

Did he spend too much energy on it?

Yesterday, William cleared the school and got the stalls for her. He even got everything that had been sold in her childhood. He also bought her eleven gifts for her past birthdays. Now he made her a forest. Alice had completely forgotten what the road had been like.

"You'll know it when we get there!"

William kept driving.

Alice looked at him. She wanted to say something, but she choked it up. Along the way, she even saw many fake forest animals coming in many different shapes.

Some peeped at Alice and William behind trees;

Some in the trees were programmed to throw small fruits at them;

There were even little monkeys swinging in the trees.

Although they were not real animals, it still looked like a fairy tale. Alice was attracted by them and hugged William's arm. "Look, there are three little squirrels over there."

"That bird is so pretty. And it's chirping. How many electric animals did you use?"

"It must take a lot of time, right?"

Alice kept talking to William.

"I didn't do it myself," William said carelessly.

He said that again.

Alice knew that William didn't have to do it himself. But it was all his idea. Alice knew how much energy he had spent on her.

They had been driving for a long time. The sun gently glistened through the leaves. But their car couldn't drive forward.

The road was blocked by a long row of bushes. They couldn't pass through them in the car.

Alice was confused and looked at William, who was staring at her. So, Alice blinked her eyes, "Should I go in there?"

"Yes."

William nodded.

Alice didn't know what William had prepared for her. She held his hand and got out of the car, only to see a little rabbit lying in front of the bushes.

Was it a real rabbit?

Alice walked forward. Suddenly, the little rabbit jumped into the bushes. Alice was a little surprised it was a real rabbit. So, she followed it, pushed the bushes aside and got in there.

The rabbit hopped ahead and looked very lively.

It reminded Alice of the fairy tales.

She just followed the little rabbit. Alice didn't notice that she had walked out of the bushes until the sun shone in her eyes. So, she raised her hand to cover her forehead and looked forward.

Then she was totally shocked by what she saw.

There were these old, broken walls. She was familiar with the graffiti on them. She had painted them before.

Alice was so shocked that her eyes were wide open as she walked past the walls. They were the same walls that she had drawn on when she was unhappy and ran from home.

William slowly walked over from behind. He sounded so sexy in his deep voice. "I've got all the walls you've painted on since you were a kid. Well, except for those demolished walls."

The walls were all here.

They were all here.

How was this possible?

Alice stood still in a daze.

"I have to say that your paintings were very ugly. Do you know how many people I have to see to find out your drawings?" William walked to her. Though he sounded like he was doing that grudgingly, he enjoyed making Alice happy.

Alice stood motionlessly as the rabbit laid by her feet and narrowed its eyes idly.

William didn't notice that something was wrong with Alice. He continued, "We'll place these walls at the back of the Imperial Castle. We can make a maze with them. Then we can build some walls so that you can draw on them whenever you're unhappy. Draw as you like."

Alice's eyes twinkled as she got emotional.

Alice smiled bitterly. Her voice turned hoarse as she cried. "I know that I'm a drag to you when something serious happens. It's the best for you to put me in a safe place. I'd hate to see your wings clipped if Lancaster caught me.

"Alice, you have never been a drag to me!"

William was getting angry.

The walls stood silently around them. Childish and wild drawings adorned the walls.

"Just hear me out." Alice interrupted William and looked at his eyes which were filled with anger. She tried hard to hold back her tears. "I know it's ridiculous to say that I want to work together with you. I don't know anything. I know I can't help. William, I know it. So, I will do whatever you want."

"What do you mean?"

William stared at Alice and asked through clenched teeth.

"Don't stay with me anymore."

Alice looked at William. She finally told him what she was thinking but was afraid to say in the past few days.

She was afraid that if she didn't say it now, William would become crazier. He had got all the walls she had painted. What would he do to make her happy?

Lancaster was coming closer to William. He shouldn't waste any time.

William went silent. He loosened his grip on her chin and lowered his arms. He stood there and remained silent.

"You don't need to stay with me. I'll do whatever you want. You should focus on your things. Don't waste any time on me." Alice looked at William. She could not even force a smile. No matter how hard she tried, she was suffocating from the pain in her chest. She almost couldn't breathe.

William was trying to make her happy, so that she wouldn't be upset and dramatic when he transferred her to a safe place.

But Alice didn't want him to do this.

She didn't want him to spend all his time with her. She was a burden. She was not that important.

William stared at her face, which was glazed with tears.

The long silence changed the atmosphere between them.

Alice looked at William and couldn't figure out what he was thinking. She wiped her tears and tried to be reasonable. "William, it's fine. Just tell me when I should leave you and hide myself. I'll be good and try not to be your burden."

William remained silent.

"I'm your biggest weakness. Lancaster hasn't done anything to me when he fights with you. I must be a very important move for them. They won't hurt me that easily." Alice closed her eyes and continued, "Therefore, it's the best if I hide myself."

Alice knew what she should do.
