S—acrifice herself for him ...
"Leave that phone with Daniel, he will help us keep it."
William said, his black eyes flashing with a hidden sense of calculation.
How could Alice have guessed what he was thinking? She only wanted to deal with today's activities and not lose face, so she obediently handed the phone over to Daniel who had just sat down on the front seat. "Steward Daniel, sorry for the trouble."
"Don't worry, I'll keep it safe."
Daniel said as he turned to look at William.
William was staring at the phone coldly, with a profound look in his eyes. Daniel understood, and seeing that Alice had lowered her head to look at the documents, she immediately switched off the phone's sound and kept the machine.
Alice flipped through the documents in his hands and he hugged her, "Do you know English?"
"Yes, I did quite well in English when I was in
school."
Alice said, and suddenly added, "But my spoken language is not good, and I haven't spoken any English for the past few years, so I shouldn't have to speak any English, right? I'm not fluent."
With her current level, she could only say that she understood the situation, and that it was too difficult for her to do so.
She started to get nervous.
"If you can't say it, then don't say it. If you don't want to say it, then don't say it. Just stand by my side. I'll say everything." William said in a low voice.
The matter with her phone was quickly forgotten.
Alice stopped thinking about the phone.
"Oh." Alice nodded, flipping through the documents, "I saw that it said to introduce the robots and Science Museum, I can do that."
She was the robot's first user, and no one knew her better than she did.
She leafed through the papers and wrote them down in silence.
When they arrived outside of Science Museum, it was unexpectedly bustling with noise and excitement. Countless people were standing outside of the Science Museum,
wild with joy and shouting, and the bodyguards in uniform lined up in a line to form a separation line.
The Science Museum was covered with a long red carpet, and invited guests were walking on it.
Alice looked at them from afar, they were all important people again, the kind of people that she could normally only see on television, he needed her to take care of them today.
"Whoosh."
Alice took a deep breath and breathed deeply several times in a row.
"Nervous?" William looked at her, "If you're nervous, we'll leave immediately!"
"It's fine, I can do it!"
Alice said firmly, giving William a comforting look.
He had done a lot for her, and now was the time for her to repay him.
"Really?"
"It's really possible!"
The driver waited for a long time, then William stepped out of the car and handed his hand over to, who then pulled her out.
As she stepped out of the car, the sound of
the party became louder, as though there were countless people shouting at the top of their lungs.
Alice revealed a smile that she had practiced for the entire morning, she looked at the crowd of people, then pulled William by the arm and walked up the red carpet, with her silver body followed behind them.
The crowd screamed.
Alice's main mission today was to accompany the female guests to visit the Science Museum. Among these female guests were strong women from the business world, some were political dignitaries, and some were famous women...
The Science Museum displayed the holographic projection of the robot. Alice led them to a display cabinet at the side and said, "The model here is the change in Mr. Who's image. For example, this is the original image of Mr. Who's image."
The ladies smiled and nodded, listening to her story.
Alice's heart was thumping, but on the surface, she still tried her best to remain calm, so that her explanation would have some meaning. Not so rigid, she turned her head to look at the Mr. Palace that was following closely behind her, and asked while smiling, "Mr.
Palace, are you satisfied with your current appearance?"
"Satisfied, I am Mr. Cullen of the robot world!"
The Mr. Palace was a very proud person.
The group of female guests laughed and asked some questions one after another, Alice tried her best to explain all of them.
On the other side, William was stopped by a few foreign guests. He held a glass of champagne in his hand and chatted with the other foreign guests, turning his head to look at Alice from time to time.
Alice was trying hard to shoulder the responsibilities of being his girlfriend, smiling as she brought people on a tour, talking nonstop.
Her smile was forced.
It was hard for her to be asked to attend such an event as the master of a public love affair yesterday. After all, she didn't live in such an atmosphere as she had since she was a child.
He ignored that.
William turned his head, and looked at Daniel who was standing by the side, and said softly, "Bring Alice to rest."
He could feel that Alice was completely
holding on.
"Yes, young master."
Daniel nodded and immediately walked towards Alice.
William's eyes did not shift to Alice, only to see Daniel beside Alice whispering something to him. Alice still maintained her smile, and then she continued to introduce the female guests to the others, to continue visiting them, and even took the initiative to pass some champagne to others.
There was no sign of rest.
Alice was confused, but just as she was about to say something, William stared at her, "Do you want to go and rest?"
Her mouth was parched, but she didn't dare to leave. "Not good, all the guests are here."
"Let's go!"
William held her hand and walked forward, pulling her along.
He led her to the pure white world that had once been a living area for testing the performance of the Mr. Palace, a place of white casting where everything but glass was white, blinding white.
Before those guests could tour around here, William had already closed the door.
Alice heaved a sigh of relief, ran to the open kitchen, poured a cup of water and gulped it down.
She was dying of thirst.
"Alice, why are you being so courteous to those people? If you want to tell them, then tell them, if you don't want to tell them, then leave!" William's voice sounded from behind her.
Alice held onto the cup and turned, looking at him, "How can that be."
That would ruin his image
She remembered this saying that a steady, good partner's image would make him better.
"What's there to lose?" William stared at her intently, his tone overbearing, "Alice, listen to me, you will be my woman. As long as I find you pleasing to my eyes, why do you care about others!?"
He was tired for her, watching her straining to bring a group of women around, trying to make a good impression.
"I don't care about others." Alice said, "As long as it's for your own good, I am willing to work hard."
She took two more sips of water to quench her thirst.
William's eyes froze as he stared at her, "What did you say?"
"I'm your girlfriend now, what kind of person am I that won't affect you?" Alice said seriously,
her eyes looking straight at him, "I want to work hard to have a good influence on you."
There was nothing she could do about the negative news from before.
But in the future, she would work hard for him.
William stood there with a dazed look on her handsome face for a second. Her smile that had been stiff all day was actually ready for him.
"Yeah." Alice nodded and asked, "What do you think of my performance today?"
Not good.
After all, she was not born in the upper classes, nor had she been immersed in the upper classes for many years. She handled human relationships in an ordinary way, and all she knew was that she laughed, and the smile was stiff, and he could tell at a glance how forced she was.
"You did well."
Once William said this, his thoughts were completely different from what he was thinking in his heart.
This woman did it for him. She finally knew how to do it for him!
