William just returned and he left the company again?
It turned out that he had left in the past two days.
Alice glanced at the time on her phone.
Two days after he left, a "thief" came into her house.
She bit her lip, stood up decisively, picked up her bag, and walked out.
She strode away from the Gwyneth Comics Company and took a cab home.
The taxi stopped at the entrance of the district.
Alice walked forward quickly before she took the elevator up.
"Bang!"
Alice turned the key into the lock and quickly pushed open the door.
She pushed the door open and entered. The interior was very peaceful.
Alice walked inside, only to see that there was nothing different about the room. She looked around and couldn't find anything that looked different from when she left.
Alice walked towards the kitchen and took out the dishes from inside. She saw that every dish was exactly the same as the one before.
No one had come to steal food.
Alice checked a few times, but didn't find anything suspicious, so she placed the dishes back inside the fridge.
'Could it be that she was thinking too much? She thought that that person would come here to steal something to eat. Even though he didn't eat her cooking anymore, she was still fantasizing ...'
Heh.
It was the aftermath of the breakup again. She imagined that that person would come back to find her.
Alice laughed self — deprecatingly, her heart beginning to ache. Just what was she hoping for?
Would she still not give up?
He and Mona shared a bath, he ate the food that made by Mona, and he and Mona went to the company together. She had already seen this with her own eyes, so why did she still uncontrollably hope?
Give up, Alice.
Don't let your thoughts run wild, and don't be so cowardly.
Alice took off her sunglasses, and since her eyes were wet, she immediately wiped them away. She hated herself for not being straightforward enough.
She picked up the dishes and threw them into the dustbin, throwing them all away one by one.
Alice looked down at the dishes that she destroyed, and her nose was extremely sore.
She picked up the plate and smashed the cooked eggs one by one into the dustbin. Only now did Alice understand why William had to smash things when he was angry.
It turned out that smashing things really made one feel better.
Unfortunately, she could not afford to break the furniture, so she could only throw some eggs to vent her anger.
Alice blinked her sore eyes, continued to pick up an egg and was about to smash it.
Alice froze for a moment, then knocked open the egg.
She had clearly cooked everything on this plate.
Alice knocked all the eggs on the plate into another bowl. Three of them were raw eggs, while the ones she put in the fridge just happened to be missing three.
In order to catch the 'thief', she had deliberately memorized what the dishes looked like and how many eggs there were. There was no mistake.
Alice stood there dumbstruck, feeling like that she was going to go insane.
If it was all her imagination and suspicion before, then these three raw eggs were definitely not her imagination.
William, what are you trying to do?
Alice looked at the three raw eggs inside the bowl. The liquid was clear and the color of the egg yolk was distinct.
After a long while, she took out her phone and called Daniel.
Imperial Castle.
Sunlight shone through the large window of the study, illuminating every corner, and the rows of bookshelves with books.
William sat in front of the desk. His handsome face was expressionless as he stared coldly at the computer screen. His slender fingers were rapidly tapping on the keyboard.
On the computer screen, there was a model of the MR robot, as well as its price.
He had a new idea on the price of robots. Alice that woman would definitely like that idea.
"Knock."
Someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." William said coldly.
Daniel pushed the door open and walked to William's desk.
"What is it?" William said coldly as he picked up his cup and drank.
"Young Master, Miss Clyne asked me to pass this to you."
Daniel fearfully placed a white porcelain bowl on the desk.
William looked down and saw three raw eggs that had been knocked open.
He choked on the water and almost coughed.
"Young Master, are you alright?" Daniel asked with concern.
William stared at the porcelain bowl, a look of awkwardness flashed past his eyes, and his voice became cold: "What is the meaning of giving these three eggs from her?"
"I don't know either." Daniel answered, "Miss Clyne only wanted me to pass the bowl of eggs to Young Master, and there are still some things he wanted me to pass to you."
"What do you mean?"
William asked.
"This," Daniel hesitated as he observed William's expression, wanting to say something but stopping himself.
"Just say it!"
Alice bit off the pen in her mouth and went to open the door. A tall and big figure dressed neatly stood in front of her door, with a cold and arrogant aura.
Who else could it be other than William?
Alice was stunned.
It was the fifth day since they had parted.
William stood outside the door, and also dumbfounded, as he lowered his eyes and stared at her.
She stood there in a loose white dress, but her skin was delicate, and her face a little more plump than it had been before, round, fair, with a loose, bulbous head, eyes staring at him blankly, a pen in her pink lips.
So damn cute.
William stared at her. He had obviously seen her in the surveillance videos everyday, but the feeling of her standing in front of him was completely different.
Her whole face was like a delicious jelly, waiting for him to bite.
One of them stayed outside the door while the other stayed inside for a long time.
Suddenly, Alice reacted, the pen in her mouth fell, and reached out to close the door.
William raised his leg and was about to kick her when he realized that she was on the other side. He immediately switched to using his hand to push on the door, "Alice, you dare to lock me outside? Do you believe that I won't kill you?"
He had said he'd killed her hundreds of times, and he didn't care if he killed her one more time.
"I don't welcome you here!"
Alice tried her best to close the door, but she couldn't do it as much as he did.
"I want to talk to you about those three eggs!"
William glared at her through the crack in the door.
"You know what you've done." Alice said as she closed the door, using all of her strength.
"Alice! "If you waste any more of my time, I'll get someone to tear down this door!" William roared fiercely.
Alice bit her lips.
He really did it.
Alice stared at his face angrily, as a pain from nowhere gushed into her heart.
Why did he still appear in front of her?
After arguing for a while, Alice released her hand and let William in.
William walked in with large strides. His black eyes coldly glanced at his surroundings as he mocked, "Such a small room, is this a dog den?"
"It is not as big as your nest." Alice asked coldly, "What are you doing here?" "I don't think we have anything to talk about." Alice said coldly. They had even signed a breakup contract with each other and shared it with others.
William pulled up a chair in front of the table. As if he was in his own home, he casually sat on it and lazily raised his leg.
His black eyes looked at her coldly. "What do you mean by giving me three eggs?"
Three eggs.
He actually had the guts to come here for three eggs? Didn't he know what embarrassment was? Being a thief so righteously?
