"Are you looking down on me?"

William looked at her in displeasure. He carried her back to his bedroom, placed her on the bed and lowered his head to check her feet.

When he was outside just now, he did not look at her carefully. After looking again at her legs, William's face immediately turned stern, and his slender fingers grabbed her ankles with a bit of force.

Alice frowned, her hands subconsciously pressing on her knees, not saying anything about the pain.

"What did you kick on?"

William asked coldly.

"I've kicked a nail." The only thing Alice could say was this. Even if she kicked something, she wouldn't be able to cause such a bloody wound.

William slowly squatted in front of her. He raised his eyes and swept a cold glance over her. In which area? "Who's in charge of that department?"

His voice had a strange note to it, and there was anger in it.

He did not believe her.

Alice sat on the bed and lowered her eyes to look at him. She knew that if she casually said a name, that innocent person would receive a terrifying punishment.

But if he said Elizabeth's name, perhaps she would not even be able to appear in San Francisco.

She didn't like Elizabeth, but that didn't mean she wanted to see him and her mother crippled each other.

"I forgot."

Alice said lightly.

"Forgot? Your memory is really bad. " William said coldly, then he looked down at the wound on her leg, his brows knitted tightly, his eyes filled with pain.

He was actually injured to this extent.

"Knock, knock, knock."

The door was knocked three times.

Daniel walked in from the outside and placed the medicine box on the ground. Looking at Alice's feet made her heart ache, he said, "Young master, why don't I bandage Miss Alice?"

He knows a bit of medicine.

What responded was the ice-cold word "f * ck" from William.

William opened the medicine box, took a cotton and dipped it in disinfectant alcohol, then went to wipe off the blood on Alice's feet.

The alcohol slashed across his wound, causing Alice to clench his skirt in pain.

"If you can't hold it in, shout it out."

William lifted his eyes and looked at her, pain clearly filling his eyes.

It was as if the wound was on his body.

"I'm fine."

Alice's pale face squeezed out a smile, her voice light as a feather.

Seeing that he had nothing to do, Daniel turned and prepared to leave.

"Go to get pen and paper!" William's cold voice sounded out in the tranquil room.

Daniel was startled, he nodded and left, and after a while he walked over with a pen and paper, "I wonder what does young master need this paper and brush for?"

Alice endured the pain as she watched William tending to her wounds.

The bloodstain disappeared from her feet, revealing her fair skin. Only the small wound was left, as if it was a bloody hole.

"Give it to Alice."

William said.

"For me?"

Alice was at a loss. She took the pen and paper from Daniel's hands and looked at William in confusion. What did he want her to do?

"Since you have obeyed my parents, they must have sent people around me and write down the names you know. I will not allow anyone to keep an eye on me." William's voice was as cold as ice, but his hands were extremely gentle as he lightly smeared medicine all around her wounds.

The medicine brought a touch of coolness and pain to her wound.

Alice sat on the side of the bed, her slender fingers tightly gripping the brush in her hand as her eyebrows knitted together slightly. "William!"

William squatted on the ground and raised his eyes to look at her. His black eyes had a ghostly light in them, and as the thin lip moved, he said word by word, "I don't need to be pacified with the Cullen Family. Father can deal with me, and I even do not need a woman like you to bow down in the middle! Be good and write it down!"

Alice did not start writing.

If he was a sane person, it would be his business how he wanted to fight his family. But he had a paranoid personality disorder, and she did not know what would happen if he continued to fight with his most loved ones. She did not want to know.

Ever since their engagement, she had protected him with all her might, to avoid anything that might provoke him.

"Or do you want me to investigate the Monitoring Video in the courtyard and find out where you kicked the nail on?"

William said with a cold voice.

He guessed it again.

He was still restraining himself, and he really wanted to see how Elizabeth treated her.

Alice lowered her head, placed the paper on her lap and slowly wrote down a few names.

Cullen Family had placed the person beside William, and had only told her two names, because they needed her help to bring them into the Imperial Castle, and the rest were found out by her during her daily life. She had also observed that those people only helped the Cullen Family control William's every move, but didn't do anything else, so she helped her decorate the place peacefully.

However, all of this was destroyed tonight.

Alice passed the paper in her hand to Daniel and squatted on the ground. He had already wrapped Alice's feet up, and it was not considered ugly, but it was still wrapped very thick, but it was not very tight, and could not suppress the flow of blood.

Along the way, Beverly's tears fell silently, and her eyes became more and more swollen.

Alice accompanied her, William accompanied Alice.

Once they arrived in Italy, William's Private aircraft immediately landed in White Sands Islands.

The car arrived at the front of the main house. The surrounding trees and plants were lush, the four seasons were evergreen, and the main house was vast and ancient. Patrick and Mary stood in front of the door.

Beverly didn't wait for the driver to open the door before she got out of the car, and rushed towards Patrick, "Patrick, what exactly happened?"

"Auntie, don't worry, I'm thinking of a way."

Patrick held Beverly's hand, with a gentle look in his eyes, he spoke while looking at the car in front of him.

William carried Alice out of the carriage. With bare feet, Alice walked towards them with an expressionless face. Her right leg was wrapped in a thick layer of gauze.

As the group walked into the living room, Mary poured tea for them like a lowly servant.

Beverly was extremely saddened on the way here, "Patrick, hurry up and tell us what happened. I want to see him, right now."

Patrick sat gracefully at the side, his fingers crossed over his knees and his voice warm and mellow, "Uncle is going to be interrogated and won't be seen by the family. I am thinking of a way, please do not be anxious. With the foundation that Brown Family has built over these years, nothing will happen, and don't worry."

Alice sat next to Beverly and asked anxiously, "Why is father being interrogated?"

Hearing this, Patrick looked at Alice, and his gaze dimmed. "This time, there are some matters that I need uncle to personally make a trip to the border, and then ..."

"And then what?"

Alice asked anxiously.

Why would anything happen to him if he went to the border?

"The Brown Family has a rule: you cannot let the female servants know what kind of business the Brown Family is in." Patrick looked at her mother and daughter, paused for a while, and then said, "But right now, I think you guys have guessed it yourself, so it is naturally not a successful business."

Hearing that, Alice's gaze froze, and the center of her palm turned cold.

"In truth, after marrying into the Brown Family for so many years, I can roughly guess what would happen. But I always thought that things wouldn't happen that easily, since the Brown Family has already been established here for more than a day or two."

"Mother, nothing will happen. There must be a way."

Alice said as she embraced her.

"Alice, you must save your father. Even if he is the villain in everyone's eyes, he is still your father and my husband. Nothing must happen to him." Beverly held Alice's hand and said, looking at Alice with her red eyes.

It was as if as long as she begged Alice, he could be saved.

"I know, Mother, don't worry." Alice said as he hugged Beverly, and then looked at William very naturally.

William would probably have a way.

William sat at a distance away from her, lazily leaning on the sofa. His face was indifferent, as if he hadn't heard what they were talking about.
