At the press conference, the crowd was in an uproar. The reporters rushed to ask one after another, "Then why did you choose to publicize it today?"
"Because I have decided to officially fight for the right to maintenance of the twins."
Alice said firmly to the camera.
The entire audience was in an uproar.
"Fighting with William and the Cullen family for the Right to maintenance? Can you compete? " The reporters all thought it was a fantasy.
"Ever since the twins were born, I have never competed for anything with the Cullen family. I know that in the eyes of many people, having children in the Cullen family is a better choice, but materials are not the standard for measuring everything. The twins have the right to choose who to live with."
Alice said, methodical, neither servile nor overbearing.
She was using the media and public opinion to declare war on him.
William saw through Alice's intentions and his expression turned extremely pale. He stepped on the throttle and sped off, his fingers grabbing tightly onto the steering wheel as he heard the unhurried voice of Alice. Her voice was clear, and he could hear her words.
Breaking up and fighting for the Right to maintenance was both their private matter, but she had moved to the media because she knew that before she could snatch it with her own ability, she would lose everything.
She purposely used insinuations in front of the media, saying that if anything happened to her, it would be him, the Cullen family's doing.
Smart Alice.
William drove the fast car downtown all the way to the Mastercard Hotel. With a dashing flick of his tail, William parked the car right in front of the hotel entrance.
The press conference had just ended.
When William walked out of the car, Alice was walking out of the hotel entrance, and they met.
The two of them were both dressed in dark blue colors, and it looked a little romantic.
William stood in front of the sportscar and stared straight at her with his black eyes.
She was prettier than the camera.
Alice stood at the entrance of the hotel and raised her eyes to look at William . He was still wearing the coat from yesterday, it seemed that he had just rushed over from the Heavenly Flower Hotel.
A warm night passed.
If he did not discover that she had held a press conference, he would still be by Mona 's side.
The wind blew and the snow fell, bringing with it a fragrance of perfume.
She smelled of Mona's perfume.
She could smell it, like poison, seeping into her body, into her limbs, along with her breath.
She looked at William as if she was looking at a stranger.
She wondered how he had managed to appear in front of her, calm and composed, with that perfume on his body.
Their eyes met.
William stared at her coldly.
The reporters were satisfied with the exposure and walked out. Before they could go out, they saw William and Alice standing face to face outside.
It was almost a century.
The flash clicked and the photographers took pictures of them in a frenzy. The reporters rushed over with their microphones raised.
William glanced at the reporters coldly, then went forward to grab Alice's hand and pulled her to his sportscar. He shoved her into the sportscar with a somewhat crude action.
"I'll do it myself. Don't touch me."
Alice looked at him coldly, and struggled out of her hands.
William was stung by her gaze. He closed the car door, got in the car under the siege of reporters and drove away.
There was no sound from either of them along the way.
William drove the car out of the city, and noticed that it was moving further and further away, and could not help but ask: "Where are you going? Aren't you going to have a press conference later?"
When he came back, he had told the media that there would be a press conference today to explain the four years of disappearance.
Snow floated down the road and lightly fell on the sports car.
"You've disrupted my plans."
William said in displeasure. With a gloomy face, he picked up his Bluetooth earpiece and put it on, then spoke into his phone. "Call me Secretary's number."
The call was quickly connected.
William instructed calmly, "We will temporarily cancel today's press conference. We will postpone all of today's meetings and urge people to put holographic age's plan on my desk before getting off work today."
Alice turned to look at William .
His profile was handsome, his features deep, his eyes deep and sexy. He had her favorite face, but he had a new soul.
If it was before, he would have jumped a few feet when she said she was going to break up, but now, he was so calm as to take care of his business.
In the past, William was too focused and did not pay too much attention to things, he had never taken too much into account.
He had spent more energy than before. After hanging up the phone, William continued to drive ,and he parked the car beside the lake.
On this side of the road, it was so quiet that there were no cars and no one to pass by. It was the most suitable place to talk.
"Why did you have to tell that to the reporters? Why didn't you inform me in advance?" William released his seat belt and turned to look at Alice sternly. "Did you know that you messed up all of my plans?
Surprise.
Snow fell on her brow, making her feel uncomfortable.
She was most afraid of the cold.
" Alice, I don't know what the hell you are doing or what you want to do? As long as you can do it, I'll do it. " William said, his voice low, this was already his compromise.
"I want the twin's Right to maintenance." Alice cut straight to the point.
"Just marry me."
"Impossible." Alice said, her eyes dry, her pupils reflecting his handsomeness, also reflecting everything that happened last night.
She stood in front of the hotel and waited.
Standing in the snow, waiting until her dress was wet and cold, she sat back in the car and waited, and when the skirt dried,he didn't come out of the hotel.
How crazy he had been last night, she could imagine.
"Why do you have to make such a stupid decision?"
William asked with an ugly expression.
The Right to maintenance was right in front of her,and she had to use a difficult method to obtain it,but couldn't she understand the pros and cons?
Hearing that, Alice stood in the snow and laughed, revealing her pure white teeth, her eyes curved into a beautiful smile.
'Tm awake." She looked at him and said, " William , I have never been this awake before."
Every day for the past four years, she had been living in a dream, waiting for him to come back.
As soon as he returned, he pulled her out of her reverie.
It was time for her to wake up.
William looked at her gloomily. His chest was in severe pain from her smile.
"Go back to your business." Alice said indifferently, and prepared to leave.
The moment she turned around, William 's voice sounded out from behind her, "The reason for your separation."
Alice stopped in her tracks.
"You haven't told me the reason for the breakup yet. You're not the kind of woman who would easily mention breakups." William said, his voice was just as gloomy as his expression.
He knew her.
Didn't he realize the reason for their separation?
"Where were you last night?" Alice turned around, and looked at him with her dry eyes, and asked, "When I called you, where were you?"
