She had once seen coldness, greed, and obedience in the Cullens.

William was unable to differentiate between normal and abnormal. Rather, normal people were different people who were far away from him. Thus, he subconsciously treated the Cullen people as a normal standard.

Walker looked at her. Seeing that she had accepted his bold hypothesis, he couldn't help but smile, "That's great. Miss.Brown didn't say I'm crazy."

That sounded absurd.

"You are my foster father's friend, so I trust you." Alice said, her body shivering inch by inch, "Please continue."

"This will explain why Mr.Cullen didn't see you first when he returned, because he suppressed his feelings for you. He thinks that normal people's feelings are like this, and he thinks that he's like a normal person."

Walker continued, "But he went to take a peek at your painting. That was because he could not control himself of missing you. He needed to see you or something related to you, or else he would collapse.

It was because he couldn't control himself.

Alice didn't dare to imagine what it felt like to be able to suppress the feeling that she was unable to control with all her might.

"Maybe it was Mona's idea, too." Walker said, "Talking about jealous, it was just like you said. It is an inhuman torture to him, because he knows how much suffering he has to endure. And he is still enduring it without realizing it. When you show your yearning for the past, he will feel defeated. He will hate himself, which is filled with negative emotions."

Alice sat there and covered her face with her hands, and her lips trembling violently.

What she had done.

In that period of time, she had told William that she loved the paranoia and she missed the past.

She had never thought about how much had he suffered in order to recreate his current appearance.

The more Walker spoke, the more excited he became, "If everything is like what I just said, then Mr.Cullen is the person with the most terrifying restraining power that I have ever seen. I believe that no one can do what he did. He restrained himself to the extent that he can change his personality completely."

The process of a paranoia turning into a person with terrifying restraining power was definitely not something an ordinary person could imagine.

Alice was starting to find it hard to listen.

"Miss.Brown, you said that after the lights flickered and he became drunk, he returned to his original state. I believe that it was because something extremely painful happened when the lights flickered, and it might have something to do with you. That kind of pain like alcohol controlled him, making him unable to control himself. So he vented it out." Walker said, "But after venting his anger, he regrets again."

"It's all my fault." Alice said with a trembling voice. Her voice was low and hoarse, "I knew he loved me so much. I don't know what have I done."

It was only now that she realized that since he returned, she had tortured him.

Seeing Alice was sad, Walker advised her quickly and gently, "Miss.Brown, don't be like this. You have already done very well. At least since you proposed to him, you found out that he occasionally has traces of the past. Do you know what this means?"

Alice looked at him blankly.

"It means you have completely accepted his two changes. Then he won't be so tired, so his self-control will naturally relax as well. This is a good thing." Walker comforted her.

"Is that so?"

So she still made the right decision at the last moment, didn't she? She did not continue to torture William crazily, did she?

"Miss.Brown, don't be so sad." Walker asked gently, "What do you think next?"

"I want to kill Mona."

Alice's lips trembled as she said that, her eyes shooting out hatred.

She had never hated Mona as much as she hated herself, as she had always been an accomplice Mona.

It was she who insisted on William meeting Mona, making William firmly believe that she was the only one who could cure him. Four years later, she had an argument with William, causing William's pain to increase.

Hearing her, Walker was fright, and immediately replied, "Miss.Brown, don't think of that. I've already said that it is just a hypothesis I have analyzed. Maybe it is a treatment."

"I knew. The field of psychology is entirely based on personal analysis and personal belief." Alice looked at him and said slowly, "But I believe in your judgement, Doctor Walker."

Because she had always felt strange.

But only now did she understand.

"I'm glad you believe me."

Walker said.

"Then please come with me to see William. Tell him these words, and don't let him hang on any longer." Alice said as she stood up.

Hearing that, Walker shook his head, "I'm afraid it won't work. Miss.Brown. Mr.Cullen is a proud person, and he has no doubts that he is a normal person. I told him that he was fooled by someone, and I'm afraid that he might find it hard to endure and something even more difficult to predict."

Alice looked at him blankly, "Then is there no other way?"

Could it be that he was going to let William continue to restrain himself?

William had not realized that she had taken away his medical records, otherwise he would have scolded her long ago.

The door was pushed open from the outside.

William walked in, closed the door, and walked toward him through the French window. His black eyes were serene and cold, and his voice was cold and harsh, "Three hours, you were three hours late. And you butlers can not late.”

Alice sat in front of the desk. After hearing what he said, she turned to look at him.

Why was she so stupid? Why had she not understand the other meaning before? It was that he had waited for her for three hours. He remembered how long she had been late just because he cared.

William's gaze fell on her eyes which were red and swollen from crying, so his gaze froze for a moment. His brows slightly furrowed, and his tone became even colder, "You cried for you were late? Have you scared by the butler's work? You can't be a rich lady."

Alice sat there as he stood in front of the french window. The sunlight shone down on him and covered him in a layer of golden light.

"I suspect that Mona is not treating Mr.Cullen's personality disorder, but instead forced him to practice his self-control for nearly four years."

Doctor Walker's voice resonated in her ears.

Alice's tears immediately flowed down.

William's tall body froze in the sunlight.

"I don't want to be a rich lady. I only want to be William's wife."

Alice said with tears streaming down her face.

William's gaze slightly moved, and a trace of unease flashed past, "Are you afraid that I won't let you become my wife? Don't worry. I don't have any reason not to marry you, unless you accomplish your task as a housekeeper very poorly."

One or two lateness is understandable.

Alice looked at him, her tears uncontrollably streaming down her face. She couldn't take it back at all, but she stood up and forced out a smile, "Then come over here and sign. I will do my job as a butler."

Only now did she understand that the ten days he said was just a reason to get married. Perhaps, he had already been distorted that he didn't know how to bring up the marriage.

"Yes."

Seeing her cry so badly, William became a little less indifferent. He walked over and sat on the chair.

Alice shed tears as she gave him a brush. William looked at her coldly, "Can you stop crying?"
