- Too stupid, stupid William
"Alice."
Alice turned her head in shock and saw William turning his body and put a corner of the blanket into his embrace. His eyes were still tightly shut as the thin lip moved twice: "Alice, Alice."
Other than these three words, his mouth had no other words.
Alice quietly stood there. Holding onto the corner of the blanket, she suddenly said in a low voice, "I must treat you. Right, cure you!"
Even the tone in his dream was so domineering.
When Alice heard his voice, she felt that her eyes were extremely sore.
William.
Except for work, you're really not smart. Not smart at all.
Too stupid, stupid William.
Alice lowered her eyes and looked at him for a long time before turning around to leave. She walked out of the room, wanting to find a maid to help her buy some makeup lotion.
She walked down the stairs and did not see any servants along the way. Everyone in Lambert Mansion had slept very early and she was not able to find anyone.
Did she want to go out and buy it herself?
Alice thought helplessly. While she was hesitating, she suddenly heard a small voice coming from the door beside him.
"Is anyone here?"
Alice asked loudly, as she walked towards the room. The door was ajar, and with a push, it was pushed open, and a soft cloth floated over, caressing her face.
She pushed open the curtain and walked into an antiquated study. The air was still faintly fragrant from the tea. The windows were all open and a chilly wind blew in, causing the door to move and almost close before bouncing back in again.
So it was this sound.
No one was there.
Just as Alice was about to leave in disappointment, her gaze landed on the books on the shelves. She walked forward and picked up a book and flipped through it.
This handwritten letter was clearly quite old. There was even a scroll at the corner of the letter, and the words on it were almost blurry. The handwriting was delicate and precise.
It was densely packed with records of cases that Lambert had encountered and how he had studied how to treat them.
There was nothing in the consultation room, so Lambert did not look like a professional. She did not expect him to write a handwritten letter, so Alice looked at the bookshelves, where rows of handwritten letters were placed side by side.
They were all handwritten.
So it turned out that all these so-called monstrous geniuses had paid an incomparably difficult price behind their backs that no one knew of. It was the same for William and this Lambert.
Alice placed the letter back in place and placed it on the side of the pile. There was a black box with a rather strange pattern on it.
She seemed to have seen this pattern somewhere before.
Alice frowned in confusion, reached out and touched the pattern, and the moment she touched it, she heard an ice-cold voice, "Who allowed you to touch it?"
Alice turned her head around as Lambert stood in front of her in his household uniform.
Their eyes met.
"I heard some noise and came in. Sorry, I didn't mean to break in." Alice said indifferently, and apologized to him.
"What did you touch?"
Lambert's eyes swept across the black box.
"I touched your letter. I didn't expect you to be a responsible doctor. I've recorded all the cases you've treated." Alice said.
He looked at her, sizing her up as if to make sure she telling the truth.
A moment later, Lambert's expression gradually relaxed. His gaze stayed on her for two seconds as a hint of shock flashed across his eyes. "How did you become like this?"
"What?"
Alice asked curiously;what had happened to her.
She was still wearing her heavy makeup, and she was wearing a large, light bathrobe.
Her long hair hung down her shoulders, and she was obviously still the same person, but what was different about her?
"Nothing." He turned around and walked to the window. Picking up the purple clay teapot, he began to brew the tea.
"Then I'll go out first."
Alice did not want to trouble Lambert to find a servant or something like that for her, so it would be better for her to buy it herself. She turned around and was about to leave when she heard Lambert's voice from behind her.
The pile of things on his face?
Alice was stunned for a second before realizing that he was talking about her makeup, and that it was all because of him.
"It doesn't seem to have anything to do with you."
Alice retorted coldly.
"Do you think that's the way he likes you?" He picked up the small teacup and put it to his lips. "Do you think it's interesting to dominate a man?"
Alice sat on the sofa and read the newspaper while William sat beside her and read the newspaper with her. This kind of time was that they were most willing to spend during these six days, as long as Lambert did not disturb them.
Obviously, this was impossible.
"Why are you sitting here?" Lambert walked towards them and casually put his hand on William's shoulder. "There's something wrong with the robot I bought;you also have a robot; why don't you help me see what it is?"
Lambert had owed gratitude to the Lancaster family and was very resistant to it. But now, he had bought all the robots back for William.
This move was known as creating a common interest.
"Oh."
A dangerous glint flashed past William's eyes as he watched from behind the camera. He stood up from the sofa in anger and followed Lambert to repair the robots.
Alice followed him.
Lambert seemed to have some knowledge about robots too. While William was checking the status of robots, he spoke nonchalantly. William did not have any desire to be with Lambert.
However, when Lambert said something inaccurate in three sentences, William could not bear it anymore. Thus, he spoke out to correct him, and the two of them conversed for an unknown reason for the entire day.
Lambert stood beside William, continuously making opportunities to lean close to him. Sometimes his fingers would brush past William's hands, and sometimes he would lean close to his ears to talk.
Alice saw that William's face was black and white, white and black.
William definitely could not take it anymore.
Alice really wanted to stop caring about William now, and wait until he couldn't take it anymore before exploding out. But thinking about it, if she didn't go up and help out, William could only force himself to endure it repeatedly.
After thinking about it, Alice still forced herself to walk between the two of them; looking at the simple robot in front of her, she coldly said, "This robot is not as beautiful as our family."
Lambert walked around Alice and stood in front of him. He looked at him lovingly and said, "No one is as beautiful as you."
William lowered his head as if he was deep in thought, but the truth was that his face had already turned ugly.
He really wanted to strangle this pervert!
He really treated William as a woman!
Once Alice's illness is cured, he will take a deep breath to vent his frustration!
"Can you not say such disgusting words?"
Alice looked coldly at Lambert.
"Heh." He continued to stick close to William and ask questions. It was like a man chasing after a woman;
Thus, this situation became Lambert trying to find an opportunity to get close to William. William neither refused nor accepted it.
