William stood up from the chair and looked down at Alice, a hint of determination in his eyes. He suddenly smiled, and his smile became especially gentle.
"I'm sorry. I've never liked forcing patients to treat well. Moreover, she has disturbed my mood." He raised a glass of red wine from the table and took a sip.
"There's no need to worry. I don't treat it!"
Alice said coldly. If William could endure it, she could not.
She grabbed William's hand and was about to leave, but she couldn't take a single step. William stood there like a rock, unable to pull him back no matter how hard she tried.
Alice's heart instantly went cold.
She raised her eyes and saw William standing there. He looked at Lambert and said with a low voice, "Are you trying to say that the past six days have been set aside?"
"Your Madam doesn't want to be treated; that's all."
His expression softened as he said, "Alright, on your account, I can still give you guys the best therapeutic regimen, but you have to agree to one of my requests."
"Is your request endless?" Alice said angrily as she held William's hand tightly, "Don't listen to him; he's a madman. He will shamelessly extend this period of time."
Lambert did not only want six days.
"You're wrong.I'm not trying to delay it."
Lambert said.
"What do you want?"
William asked.
Lambert smiled without saying a word, and lowered his head to drink the red wine in his cup in one gulp. Then, he looked at Alice, and said, "I want you to kiss me in front of her."
"Enough!"
This was the first time that Alice had roared hysterically. She glared at Lambert hatefully, let go of William's hand and pushed Lambert away.
"Bam."
The dining table was very close to the lake, so Alice directly pushed Lambert into the water, causing a thousand ripples.
Lambert popped his head out of the water and floated up in the air. He reached his hand out and brushed off his wet hair, then looked at Alice coldly with his eyes, "Very good, since you don't want to treat this illness, I don't want to either."
"Goto hell!"
Alice shouted loudly. She did not curse, and all her anger was contained in these four words.
He could not treat illnesses, but he could not humiliate others like this.
Alice really wanted to go up and kick him again, but before she could step forward, she was pulled back by William. She was stunned, but William calmly pulled her back, then let go of her hand.
Alice stood there, feeling the warmth in her hands disappear in an instant, extremely similar to his current ice-cold chest, and she stared blankly at William.
William walked past her step by step towards the side of the pool, and his eyes fixated on Lambert who was in the water.
She suddenly realized what he wanted to do, and her eyes became even redder. "No, William, no!"
Please.
Stopped this ridiculous thing;and she really didn't want treatment; she really didn't want treatment.
He was such a person. He was a terrifying paranoia, as long as it was something he had determined, he would do it, doing it at all costs.
He wouldn't stop until he had achieved his goal.
Alice went forward and grabbed his hand, but he ruthlessly flung it away. Lambert who was floating in the water had a stunned expression on his face.
William walked towards the side of the pool, step by step. Every step was extremely stiff, and with every step, Alice felt as if he was stepping on her bones.
It was extremely painful.
Tears fell uncontrollably.
Alice watched William walking to the side of the pool, then slowly squatted down and stretched his hand out towards Lambert. Lambert borrowed William's strength to climb out of the lake, and his drenched clothes tightly stuck to his skinny body.
Lambert stood up, patting the wet clothes on his body, frowning.
"Raise your head."
A cold voice sounded above his head.
Lambert raised his head. William stared at him with a pair of incomparable pitch black eyes.
This feeling again.
It was clearly the same person, but it seemed to be completely different.
"Give me the therapeutic regimen."
As William stood in front of Lambert and said each word, then lowered his head and kissed his lips. Lambert was stunned, and forgot to take any action, as he watched William's handsome face grow bigger and bigger in front of him.
A weak voice suddenly sounded.
"William!"
William stood in front of Lambert; his entire body suddenly stiffened, and he turned his head around. Alice stood there with her hands on her stomach, looking at him in pain, her face pale white.
In the next second, Alice fell to the ground, moaning in pain.
"Alice!"
William's eyes suddenly widened, and he rushed forward with a loud roar to pick Alice up from the ice-cold ground. “
Where did William go?
"That's because of your problem." Lambert crossed his arms and said.
"Then you are even more wrong. My heart disease only broke out about five months after I became pregnant." Alice looked at Lambert coldly, and said sarcastically, "We really shouldn't have trusted you, to actually let you play around with us for six days!"
"The heart attack has nothing to do with the duration of pregnancy;it's just triggered by a variety of factors. Besides, I'm not a quack. It's you guys who never tell the truth. I haven't even said that you've wasted my time."
Alice sat on the bed and looked at him coldly.
Alice took it and looked at her. The makeup on her face had already been removed, and only her clean and slightly pale face was left. Without those thick ink and heavy colors, she instantly returned to the past.
It seemed that Lambert already knew about it.
"A dignified CEO and Madam President came to my little Lambert Mansion to scam. Who exactly is more despicable?" Lambert said.
Alice took the mirror over, since they were at a disadvantage in this matter, and then she said, "We are only here to treat the disease;we don't want to be involved in this."
"I hate patients who don't tell the truth." Lambert said, "I thought you guys were strong females and weak males. I thought that because your demands were too high, you would not be satisfied with what he had done. That's why I wanted you to see how much he could pay for you."
"What?"
Alice was stunned and looked at Lambert
in astonishment.
What did he mean, letting him see how much William could pay?
"To put it bluntly, I've been treating your illness these past six days." "I've always been stimulating you, waiting for you to see his hard work, for him to give you something to make you jump out and say 'no', for you to say 'love him', then you can go back happily and happily. I got it all wrong."
"You're not..."
"Do you think that I'm really pursuing your husband? I've always liked the side ways when treating patients. I don't follow the rules."
Alice looked at him in shock. Did she misunderstand?
"But I didn't expect that when I was treating you, you would give me a scam." Lambert mocked coldly. "Is this how your Cullen family plays?"
Alice sat on the bed and looked at him, a little puzzled. He was really only treating the patient, then his acting skills were just too natural.
"I'm sorry. I was mistaken, but we really didn't lie to you on purpose."
Alice still apologized. If what Lambert said was true, then they were indeed at fault.
"Did you guys lie on purpose? Since you've awakened, then leave." He turned around and left.
Alice sat on the bed, she wanted to pull away her blanket and got off the bed, but felt dizzy, so she pressed her head and asked, "Where is William?"
"He did not sleep the whole night, David lied and drank some sleeping pills; he is now sleeping in the next room."
