— What should she do if her heart ached?

He would never use her to obtain the possibility of survival, not to mention that she was pregnant and could not be touched. Even if there were fewer accidents during the escape, he would not be able to gamble.

Hearing that, Alice stared at him anxiously. Don't do this.

This was the best method that she could think of to escape unscathed. He had to cooperate with her, please, William; please cooperate with her!

In just a few seconds, the expression in Alice's eyes had turned into one of begging. The hand holding the dagger was stuck between William's chest and could not be pulled out.

William's eyes were pitch black as he rejected with determination.

There was no hesitation.

Alice finally tasted William's blood. It was bitter, so bitter that she wanted to cry.

Outside the door, Lang had already rushed in like an arrow. Hearing the footsteps, Alice knew that it was too lat; she missed her chance in an instant;her lips were still being bitten by William. She quickly pressed her dagger under William's body, and was pulled back by Lang.

Lang supported her and lowered his head to look at her. Her lips were stained with blood. "Why are you so close to him?"

It almost stuck.

"I want to ask him if he's bullied a lot of women this way." Alice said softly as she lowered her eyes to look at William who was sitting on the ground.

"No, you're the only one." William laughed sinisterly, and he did not feel like a prisoner at all, "Because you look like my wife too!"

After hearing this, Alice's tears flowed down as she stared at him in grief.

He had always been this domineering. If he only cared about his heartache and didn't let her hurt, then what about her heartache?

Lang's heart surged with hatred when he heard this. He shouted, "Hit me! Beat him until he can't even speak!"

"Yes! Mr. Lang!"

The three servants charged forward as they spoke.

Tears streamed down Alice's face, and she did not even have time to think, as she pressed her forehead and closed her eyes, "My head is spinning!"

With that, she fell on top of the servants who were rushing over, blocking their path.

"Alice!"

Lang was shocked and immediately reached out and pulled Alice away. Seeing her pale face filled with tears, he bent down and carried Alice, "How are you, Alice?"

Alice laid in his embrace, not daring to move, and only waited to see what would happen next.

William sat there, staring deadly at Alice who was being carried by Lang. This woman really dared to do anything to save him! F * ck!

Yet, he couldn't shout it out now. This way, her life would be in danger.

Dead Alice!

She was determined to save him with her own strength today, wasn't she? Damn it!

"Alice? Alice?"

Lang's voice was especially ear-piercing when he called out to Alice. William sat there and tightly gripped his dagger as he stared at Lang.

"Get a doctor, quickly!"

Lang rushed out while carrying Alice, and the servants were delayed in beating him up because of this.

Alice could feel that Lang had been hugging him all this time. She was carefully placed on a soft bed.

Lang kept holding her hand, wiping her face with a towel, muttering words to save her.

His anxiety did not seem to be faked.

When the doctor came over to see, Alice woke up in pain. When Lang sat on the side of the bed and saw that she had woken up, and he revealed a smile, "You're finally awake."

Alice looked at him with reddened eyes but she did not say a word and quietly sat up on the bed.

I wonder how William is doing now.

"Go down." After Lang had chased the doctor and his servant out, he sat down beside her. "How do you feel now?"

"Not bad."

Alice said lightly.

There was a smile in Lang's eyes. "Did he scare you?"

"Yes."

Alice nodded lightly.

"I know you're a simple person, so you definitely aren't used to this kind of situation. If I knew earlier, I wouldn't have brought you up here." Lang once again showed his kind sense of guilt.

When Alice thought about the injuries on William's body, her body shivered. She hugged her knees and said, "Mr. Lang, let him go, even if he's a bad guy, he is a human being. Killing him is too severe."

"Let him go? he'll destroy what I want to do, no!"

Lang's face changed.

Something you want to do.

Alice suddenly thought back to what William had said. The reason that Lang was so patient was because he had some sort of plan, and didn't want to be destroyed by others.

"What do you want to do?"

Alice sat on the bed and asked, her face

pale white under the light.

Hearing this, Lang's expression changed, and he didn't speak. Alice also didn't know what happened to him, she only cared about William's safety, and so William couldn't be beaten up again. She had to rescue him and get him out.

Catherine who had delivered herself to her doorstep.

William was unwilling to let her go, but what about her going to Catherine? Given how Lang doted on Catherine, he would definitely let them go.

However...

Catherine was only seven years old, just a child.

Alice walked out of the room with a little hesitation. Under the lead of the servant, she entered a closed door and knocked on it.

There was no sound.

"Catherine, are you asleep? I didn't send you any flowers this morning, and now that I've mended them, do you want to take a look?"

Alice made her voice sound more amiable.

There was still no sound from the room.

Alice looked in a certain direction. William was still locked up there, and she had to think of a way.

"Catherine, are you angry with Auntie? I'm sorry, and my mood is also not good today. The flowers in the flower basket were all carefully cut by me;do you really not want to see them?"

Alice continued, wanting to coax Catherine out to open the door.

There was no sound from inside.

Alice anxiously stood outside. If Catherine did not open the door, she would very quickly be sent back to Lang, then there was no telling whether William would live or die. Perhaps she could wait until Cullen family came to save her, but she did not dare to imagine how many injuries he would suffer in the middle of it all.

She was standing in the doorway, trying to think of something, when the door was suddenly opened from the inside.

A small head peeked out from inside. It was Catherine, who leaned against the door frame and looked at her with eyes as red as a rabbit's, obviously having just cried.

"Come in."

Catherine's voice had a nasal quality to it, as she extended her hand out to drag Alice inside.

It was a Disney style bedroom, full of dolls and dolls, with various Disney animators taped to the wall.

Once Catherine entered, she laid down on the bedside with her back facing Alice.

Alice looked at this tiny figure and slowly raised her hand. As long as she controlled the Catherine, she would have a bargaining chip with Lang, and William would be able to leave safely.

He couldn't wait any longer.

She didn't want to do it, but there was nothing she could do.

Alice extended her hands out to Catherine bit by bit, and when her fingers touched the back of her neck, Catherine's choked voice suddenly came out from the bedroom, "I miss my mother."

Alice's hand stiffened.

Catherine's back was facing her as she fiddled with a doll on the bed. Her voice was choked with sobs and her voice carried a thick nasal tone, "Father scolded me again, and I felt that the little boy was really pitiful. That's why I wanted to let him go."
