"Yes."
Daniel took the computer, roughly glanced at it, and his face turned pale with fright. "Young Master, there's a lot of real information about N.E. here, isn't this exposing weaknesses in front of Lancaster?"
He basically understood what Alice meant. He wanted Bella to become their spy, but Bella was too unstable after all.
"How can we fish without some real bait?"
William said coldly.
"But isn't this too risky? And Lancaster may not believe it all. It will be a gamble, and it will be bad for us." Daniel still felt that this plan was too bold.
If Bella brought this document back, unless Lancaster decided to destroy N.E. in one fell swoop, then they could dig out all the hidden information. If Lancaster were to slowly nibble on this information, N.E. would be hollowed out."
Too dangerous move.
"I like playing a dangerous game!" William said coldly. Then, he suddenly turned to look at Alice and added, "Anyway, some people believe in Bella. I'll just bet on her."
"Huh?" Alice was dumbstruck. She did not understand what had happened, but she vaguely understood that William had made a very important decision and she quickly said, "You want to use Bella for something big? 1-1 am not sure..."
"Didn't you believe in her?" William coldly snorted, "If you can believe in your love rival, then why can't I?"
"William, don't be like this."
Alice panicked, her lips turned pale from biting.
Seeing that, William frowned, "Don't bite! I have a way to get Lancaster taking the bait."
Alice stared at him blankly, not understanding what he was thinking.
On this warm day, dozens of bodyguards stood with their hands behind their back on the balcony of the apartment.
As Alice walked forward, she was nearly blown away by the strong wind. Her long hair fluttered in the wind.
William sat on a chair with his back facing her, his posture was lazy and noble like it was before. In front of him laid the dying Bella, covered in blood, and on her beautiful face were two bloody wounds.
"Pah!"
A bodyguard whipped her fiercely.
"AHH!"
Bella rolled on the ground in pain. Alice frowned and walked towards them, the bodyguard lashed out with his whip again. Bella cried out in pain, her fingers grabbed the ground to bear the pain, the necklace on her neck was stained with blood.
The ground was covered with her blood.
"Can you still hold on?"
Alice could not help but ask.
As William sat there, he immediately looked at her. She started to sympathize with her love rival again.
'Tm fine." Bella lay on the ground with blood dripping all over her teeth. She raised her head with much difficulty and looked at Alice, saying "If my injuries are not serious enough to almost kill me, Lancaster will not believe that I am loyal."
She spoke in a broken voice.
Alice saw tenacity in her eyes, for her beloved man, Bella was giving it her all.
Bella laid on the ground with wounds all over hwe body, her hands trembled as she lifted them up. Seeing this, Alice immediately lowered her body, placed one hand on her waist and the other on her neck, allowing her to feel the necklace.
When she touched the silver necklace, Bella felt like she was revived. She looked at her gratefully, "Thank you, continue."
Alice pursed her lips, stood up from the ground, took two steps back and stood beside William, and she watched the bodyguard raise his whip again.
Blood splashed in the sunlight.
It was shocking.
Alice quietly looked at Bella, and then turned to look at William, as though she was thinking about something.
William was staring at her unhappily, and upon seeing her expression, he blurted out, "Don't even think about it!"
"What?"
Alice was stunned.
"I won't be trapped again! Don't you dare try to imitate her!" William coldly snorted, emphasizing each word.
Alice was speechless, he really knew what she was thinking. No wonder he had so many bodyguards added, it was because he did not want to betrapped.
"Pah!"
With another lash of the whip, Bella spat out a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground, dying.
Daniel stood at the side and said, "Young master, it's enough. If we continue, she will really die, I'm afraid we won't even have the chance to rescue her."
Hearing that, William stood up from the chair and walked to where Bella was with his long legs. He then reached out his hands and grabbed her long hair, forcing her to raise her head.
"Senior."
Bella said with difficulty.
"If you dare betray me, I will make sure that you poor lovers will live a life worse than death! Do you understand?" William glared at her sinisterly, "It's easier for me to crush you than it is to stomp two ants."
"Yes, I understand."
As Bella spoke, blood continuously flowed out from her mouth.
Bella looked at her with a face covered in blood, her lips moved with difficulty, revealing a smile that looked even miserable than crying, "Thank you."
"Hmm."
Alice nodded.
Bella looked at her, and she said word by word, "That day, I wanted to tell you, the reason why senior praised me was because I am the only Chinese in St. John. He just likes Chinese people, and it's not because of anything else."
So it was like this.
So William liked Chinese people.
Not for any other reason. Very good, really very good.
Hearing that, Alice smiled. A strand of hair brushed across her face, stopping at her lips.
William snorted from the side.
"I will not betray you."
Bella promised Alice that as blood dripped from her mouth, it was because of Alice.
Bella was not stupid, she knew that if not for Alice, she would already be dead, let alone saving Jerry.
"I hope that you and Jerry can go through everything and be together as soon as possible." Alice sincerely wished her well.
Hearing that, Bella's eyes lit up with hope, she was dragged away by the bodyguards.
Everything was as William had expected. After Bella "escaped", she was quickly rescued by the Lancaster informants. Alice thought that even if Bella had only one last breath left, she would definitely be able to hold on.
A plane flew in the bright sky, leaving a long trail of white clouds.
While William was recuperating, in one of the research rooms under William's control that was researching Lancaster's property data, someone was stealing, someone was keeping a lookout, and someone was removing the contents in the computer.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open and a group of bodyguards rushed in, catching all those who were stealing things.
In the base, Daniel placed the property data on top of William's table. "Young Master, the information provided by Lang was not stolen, but this let Lancaster know that you are not only focused on recuperating, you are also mediating family conflicts. Will they continue their next step?"
"That's precisely the reason why that damned old man went crazy."
William sneered.
"Please enlighten me, Young Master."
Daniel didn't really understand what William was planning.
"Although I have never interacted with that old man before, how could he not be paranoid when he's in charge of such a big family business? If I was under his control, how could he believe that I didn't have any problems?" William looked at the documents in front of him and sneered, "On the contrary, give him some information. He will think that I'm only so — so, and he will speed up his steps instead."
