Holy Lord. If he wasn't attractive enough before, he gets ten times hotter when he reveals his perfect, white teeth.

I side step to walk around him and go out the door, feeling embarrassed for standing in front of this model. I'm almost there when he yells out, stopping me in my tracks.

"Wait! Stop!" He sounds frantic as he rushes closer to me.

He stands right in front of me, closer than before. I feel those weird sparks again and I repeat my previous inquiry.

"You never answered my question. I feel like I know you somehow." I pry.

"Why? Do you feel like we've met before?" He asks me curiously.

"I feel these... like sparks... of recognition." I try to explain without sounding crazy.

After I say this, he bursts into a smile. I don't move, still confused on this current situation I am in.

"Maybe I have seen you before." He tells me sarcastically.

I rack my brains trying to think of how I may know him. Nothing comes to mind. Is this some type of joke? I wonder.

My phone buzzes and I look down to see a text from my mom, asking where the hell I am. I'm sure she's overreacting in the car right now debating calling my dad or the police over my suspected abduction.

"Well I gotta go." I tell the beautiful boy in front of me. As soon as the words leave my mouth, I get a pain in my stomach, like a cramp. I wince and clench my stomach. The guy in front of me flinches and I realize I don't even know his name yet.

"My name's Jennifer by the way. Most people just call me Jen though." I stick my hand out to shake his.

"My name's Jake." He replies, not raising his hand. I awkwardly put my hand down, slightly offended that he doesn't shake mine. His expression is unreadable and I find myself feeling incredibly confused.

I turn around and walk out the door to the car, this time not being stopped by Jake.

That was awkward.

The bell rings and all of my classmates get up quickly while collecting their things. I stride out of the door and look around the hall for my best friend, Riley. I see her come out of her class across the hall and I wave her over. She jumps with excitement and skips over as soon as she finds me in the crowd.

Yes, I did say skip.
