Alistair smiled gently and said. “It’s okay. Don’t worry about it.” 

Audrey still seemed uneasy. “Is it really fine if it gets posted online! You don’t know how crazy people can be on the internet. They might dig up Sunny’s identity” 

If anyone discovered Sunny’s illness, it could easily be exploited by someone for their own purposes. 

Alistair felt happy that Audrey cared so much about Sunny. He gently squeezed her hand, offering a reassuring smile. “It’s nothing. They won’t be able to uncover anything”

“What mother? I refuse to acknowledge her Francis retorted angrily. “A woman with an unknown background who, before even entering the house, has already turned my son against me! I won’t accept a daughter–in–law like that.” 

“Who cares what you think?” Evelyn rolled her eyes 

Francis, realizing he was getting nowhere, softened his tone. “You don’t care about me, but can you at least talk to your son Get him to bring Sunny back quickly 

“I won’t do it. If anyone should call, it’s your Evelyn declined firmly. 

Francis would have liked to call himself, but remembering how his son treated him so poorly made him even more frustrated

Francis clearly had more to say, but Evelyn ignored him and busted herself with her phone. As she opened her social media, Evelyn spotted a trending photo. 

In the picture, her proud and aloof son wore matching outfits, holding hands with a young girl on one side and a cute child on the other. The photo was strikingly beautiful. They looked like a perfect family 

Evelyn couldn’t help but chuckle as she looked at her phone. Francis, still sulking, grew even more displeased at her reaction. “What’s so funny about staring at your phone?”
