"What's this? Still half-asleep? Did you have a nightmare?" Dwight placed the dishes on the table, then pulled Reese out from under the bed.

"Why are you hiding under the bed?" Dwight asked, a bit puzzled.

Embarrassed, Reese scrambled for an excuse. "What do you know? This is my unique cultivation method."

Dwight half-heartedly agreed, "Right, right. Here's your food. I won't disturb your rest." With that, he left while stifling his laughter.

Reese looked at the food on the table and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. "Seems like I underestimated that thing, after all!"

After delivering the food, Dwight went to the dining hall. He grabbed some food and began scanning the room. Finally, he found Wrendell and Cayden among a group of junior disciples.

Wrendell was venting his frustrations and boasting as usual. Dwight went over and admonished, "Hey, you guys! Hurry up and eat! There's training after this. Stop chatting!"

The group scattered when they heard Dwight. They joked with him as they took their leave.

"Dwight..." Wrendell greeted somewhat embarrassedly. To his surprise, Dwight did not scold him. Instead, he sat down in front of him with a mysterious look on his face.

Wrendell and Cayden were a little terrified. Dwight would usually be ripping Wrendell a new one at this point, but he had not said anything so far.

The entire group erupted into laughter. Wrendell laughed so hard that tears came to his eyes.

"Haha! Our grandmaster is truly unmatched. He has even traumatized Reese!"

Another round of laughter followed. Just then, their masters entered the room, led by Haval, a Path master. "What are you lot doing? Why aren’t you done eating yet?" he roared.

As soon as the disciples saw their masters arrive, they quickly scattered in all directions while Wrendell continued to stir things up. "Better go grab a spot for training!"
