Night Rider MC novel Chapter 24

I watched as they carried the furniture and boxes into the house. I parked my car and bike in the garage. I paid them and thanked them for their help. I closed and locked the door. I moved the living room around and walked to the kitchen where I unpacked the boxes and threw them on the back porch.

I then walked up the stairs to my bedroom into the one I chose and into the bathroom. After the bedroom was finished I threw the boxes down the stairs.

I looked at the other two bedrooms. I need to buy two beds, dressers and end tables. And they will be finished. I walked down the stairs and to the basement. I looked around and smiled.

It is huge. I need to buy a washer and dryer. For one side of the basement. The other side would be turned into a sitting area. A couch, two chairs, flat screen tv on the other side. I carried my tablet up stairs and laid it on the table.

This is a good move for me. I needed to get away from the clubhouse. And that world. It is bad enough I am going back to the underground fighting. Buying this house is a good thing. I can concentrate, I can get used to being alone. To having no real family, other than Uncle Hunter. Even if I am mad at him right now.

It was as if he was on the whores side. And that I will not stand for. She didn't stay in her lane. I felt good about having my own place and not renting. I decided to go to the bar in town. I dressed in lather pants, black biker boots, and a shirt that says "Tell me a rule and I will tell you how to break it."

I walked out and to the kitchen and into the garage. I backed my car out and into town. I smoked a joint on the way. I parked in the parking lot of the club.

I got out and locked the car doors. I walked into the club drawing a lot of eyes. I walked to the bar bought a beer, turned and walked toward the dance floor. I found a table against the wall and sat down.

I noticed several bikers from the Wind Rider MC. I also noticed them looking at me. I didn't look at their way. I did look up when two girls asked if they could share the table with me. Sure have a seat.

"My name is Star."

"I am Cindy and this is Penny."

"Pleased to meet you. Both."

"We have never seen you in here before."

"It is my first time."

"You will like it."

"They play good music and sometimes you get to see a fight."

"You look familiar."

"Wait, you are a fighter."

"I am."

"That must be why everyone is looking at you."

"You are Ice."

"I am." I said smiling.

"We love to watch you fight."

"Everyone underestimates you."

"When are you going to fight again?"

"Not sure. I was out for medial reasons."

"Last dance." Cindy said.

We were dancing and having a good time. We ended up buying shots and slammers. I was getting lit. I looked at the clock and said "I am going home."

"Will you be here next weekend?"

"Sure, will you guys be?"

"Yes, we will save a seat for you, if we get here before you."

"I will do the same."

I gave them my phone number before I left.

As I walked out the door I saw the bikers standing by their bikes.
