Night Rider MC novel Chapter 28

I was working with Hunter when I looked over and saw my truck being parked and my enforcer, Mike get out and walk over toward me. I introduced him to Hunter. And took my keys from him.

"Thanks, for bring it. One less thing to bring her when the club is finished. It will come in handy when we need to run to town for things."

"How much longer will it be."

"Not long, so star packing So start packing things at the clubhouse, such as drinks, bed linin's, Clothes and stuff. We are going to buy new furniture, chairs, tables, beds the necessities, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers,"

"I also want the walls washed down, painted inside, and outside. Clean the yard up, make sure to pack out the tools, and clean the garage and sheds out."

"Burn what we don't need to leave for the new buyers."

"I say we should be able to move in the new club in six months."

"Good to hear."

"Go have a few drinks. You leave tomarrow."

Hunter and I watched them walk to the clubhouse. We finished the car than walked to the clubhouse and our rooms to shower and put on clean clothes.

I have been thinking of Star and our date in two days. I can't believe she is even giving me a chance. She has stayed away from everyone here even other men. I rode by her house so I knew where she lived.

I didn't tell Savage or Hunter. And I am not telling Hunter I am taking Star out to dinner. I already know where I am going to take her.

A nice restaurant in Fort Wayne Indiana. The Corner Rooftop. I was told it was one of the best places to take a date. Then I am going to take her to the movies. Not sure what we will watch. Maybe, "All The Bright Places." Grace told me that Star wanted to see that movie.

I just finished dressing when my phone rang. It was my sister.

"Dawn, what do you need?"

"Can't a sister call her brother?"

"I miss you Black Eagle. When are we going to move to VanWert?"

"Soon in about six months."

"I can't wait to see the new clubhouse. I am sure I will love it."

"Listen, Dawn. I will explain something, maybe two somethings when you get here."

"Nothing bad, I hope."

"No, nothing bad."

"Alright, I have to go and put some whores in their place."

"Love you Black Hawk."

"Love you too."

I looked at the picture of Star on my phone. I remembered taking it when she smiled for he first time in Hunter's office. She is a spitfire. She is a fighter, and loving.

Given half the chance, and if I get lucky and have a second date with her I can win her trust. I want to claim this woman as mine. And if that happens, I will never walk away from her.

When I touched her arm at the farmers market I was shocked. I felt the tingles go up my arm and down my spine. I had never felt that before.

That is how I knew she belonged to me, and I belonged to her. I knew she felt them too. I watched as her eyes widened. I walked out of the room and down the stairs to the bar.

As I sat down a beer was placed in front of me. Just than we heard a woman tell another one to stay in her lane. Then the other woman said, "Me stay in my lane. You are the one that keeps getting out of your lane not me."
