The following day at noon, Lenora and Sophia, exhausted from their stroll, dined at a Clusian restaurant.

While waiting for their food, Lenora casually flipped through her phone, a hint of confusion in her voice as she asked, “Has Jonas not arrived yet? Why hasn’t there been any news?”

Based on the flight details provided by Jonas, he should have arrived in Sloummont that morning.

Sophia glanced behind Lenora, a hint of amusement flickering in her eyes. “Perhaps there has been a delay. Let’s wait a bit longer,” she suggested.

Lenora shifted inward, moving her bag from the seat beside her to the empty chair across from her. She glanced at Jonas and asked, “When did you get here? Why didn’t you say anything?”

Jonas was tidying up the tableware before him. “Isn’t this meant to be a surprise for you?”

“How did you manage to find this place?”

Jonas glanced at Sophia, saying, “Just a guess. This is the place I recommended to Ms. Tortell.”

“That’s smart of you. Finished with work?”

Yup. I have no more schedules until New Year’s Day. Everything else is left for next year.”

Upon hearing the words ‘next year, Lenora sighed. “Time flies! There goes another year! By the way, I’ve got a gift for you.”

As she spoke, Lenora pulled out a delicate square box from her bag and placed it on the table. “Open it and see if you like it?”

“I’m giving you three days to arrange everything. After three days, I expect to see Jonas on set, ready to shoot.”

It didn’t matter whether the others joined the team or not, as long as Jonas did. He didn’t have any commitments at the moment, so he surely had time.
