“You did a good job with today’s press conference. It’s truly commendable. Zachary praised while gnashing his teeth in anger a little.

I knew it. He’s here to confront and question me. Lenora sat up straight and looked at him, explaining earnestly, “I apologize, but my intentions were for the good of the MQ brand. Given that we naturally attract attention and generate discussion, why shouldn’t we use that to promote the brand’s products?”

Seeing Zachary silent, Lenora spoke up confidently. “The press conference today was very well–received. I have great confidence in the product launch that’s coming up. I believe you shouldn’t blame me for this.”

“You think you’re in the right?” questioned Zachary,

“All I’ve been doing is for the sake of the company.”

“Aren’t you afraid of being ridiculed by others?”

“Don’t worry, I’ve never been afraid.”

“Thank you, Mr. Fuller.” Lenora gave him a smile.

Zachary went downstairs to have dinner, and upon returning to the master bedroom, he washed and. freshened up.

“I wasn’t really looking at anything, I was just casually scrolling.” Lenora immediately closed her phone.

She was using her alternate account to check out the fan club accounts.

The interactive game session from the press conference had already been clipped and shared in the fan club accounts.

Seeing her appear guilty, Zachary narrowed his eyes, “there’s nothing wrong, why are you hiding your phone?”

His hot breath fanned against her cool neck, causing her to recoil instinctively. She reached out to push him away. “Don’t stand so close to me.”

Zachary pulled the mobile phone from her grasp. Immediately, Lenora lunged forward to retrieve it, exclaiming. “Stop!”

He knew her password, and once he unlocked her phone, he would see what she was looking at earlier, which she wished to prevent.

Zachary extended his arm outward. He was tall, so Lenora couldn’t possibly reach his hand. She had to exert a tremendous amount of effort just to pull his hand.

With great effort, she pulled his arm down, only to discover he had used his other hand to hold it.

All her efforts were for naught.

Furious, Lenora demanded, “Give me my phone back, now!”

When Zachary saw her little face flushed with urgency, he couldn’t help but suppress a chuckle.

During the struggle for the phone, her loungewear had come undone slightly, so when he glanced downward, he could see her naked body.

His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he leaned in, nipping at her ear. “Shall we do it tonight?”

Over the past few days, they shared the same bed as they used to, but Lenora had been busy with work recently. She would fall asleep pretty quickly after lying on the bed, uninterested in doing anything.

Since the promotional period had finally passed, there was time to take a breather.

Lenora shook her head, pushing him away. “Not tonight. I’m really tired and want to get some rest early.”

“You don’t need to move,” suggested Zachary.

“That won’t work either.”

How about I help you relax?”

Lenora fell silent, indicating to Zachary that she had tacitly agreed.

All she knows is how to indulge herself. Zachary thought with a slight grin.

Once everything was over, Lenora lay motionless on the bed, not wanting to move. Zachary took care of her, attending to the necessary cleaning.

It turned out it wasn’t a dream carlier. Someone had indeed called Zachary
