Sebastian’s POV 

I was beginning to regret bringing Melissa here. She didn’t deserve to endure this- listening to these fools while carrying our child! 

“Do you think I have no brains either? If I could dissolve this council, I would. This committee has failed in its duties, accusing your Luna of being a villain without a thorough investigation. You’ve prematurely assumed I am a tyrannical Alpha, heavily taxing and oppressing other Packs without proof. You’ve always acted this way, and unfortunately for you, this time, I will be involved in your judgment! Because my brother is involved, and those closest to me have been affected. Does Winnie Harold’s admission mean everything?” 

Basil handed me some materials. Everything I had asked him to investigate was now in my

As I finished speaking, the crowd erupted in astonishment. 

“I’ve had the letter printed and made copies for all of you.” 

Demi Aniston reached out her hand toward Basil, who was handing out the copies. 

“If the Council can’t even handle this, then what’s its purpose? All you’ve done is oppose my decisions and target my family. Because of this, I have doubts about your decisions as well. I’m even considering whether I should overhaul the entire council system.” Leaning against my hand, I spoke with an air of indifference, my expression exuding disdain. 

“No, no, it shouldn’t be like this, Alpha,” Demi Aniston boldly spoke up. “This time, it’s just because of our delayed information. While you’re a royal, the North’s success back then. was also a result of our great families working together! We are a community with a shared future…” 

Demi Aniston’s words were shameless, her tone almost laughably self–righteous. 

“It’s because of what happened back then that I didn’t order the arrest of the council members, I continued. “I truly hope none of you were involved in this, because you failed. to investigate and instead took every opportunity to condemn us, creating chaos in the North. This is unsettling. If I hadn’t investigated thoroughly, would you have truly wrongfully accused the innocent? My brother would’ve been dragged into this, all for no

Or maybe you possess the physical prowess of Kala Cendrowski, capable of leading our armies to greater strength? Or perhaps you have Phoebe Nayyar’s intellect and learning ability? 

If you lack all of that, what right do you have to criticize those now sitting in the box, lending their strengths to our North? What do you have to be proud of? Is it only the glory of your ancestors?” 

I narrowed my eyes once again, warning everyone in the room. 

“I don’t want to repeat myself. I hope this is the last time you speak of them as outsiders. or objects. If it happens again, I’ll take it as an insult to me. I won’t be intimidated by your family’s size or your power. Believe me, if I decide to replace you, there’s nothing you can do to stop me.” 

I noticed the leaders of many prominent families growing darker in expression, their eyes filled with hatred, as though they wanted nothing more than to pounce on me right then 

and there. 

Only Ethan Vrzogic, that fool, was clapping in approval of my passionate speech. 

I smiled and gestured for him to quiet down. He nodded eagerly, his eyes full of even more admiration.
