ALPHA RYAN
"This is Noah. Ellie is missing."
"What?" I yelled into the phone.
It was an early morning Saturday and I had just woken up from a deep sleep that was filled with thoughts of my mate when I had gotten a call from Alpha Noah. It was just a couple of months ago when my cousin Ellie had called me to tell me that she had been kidnapped by him. As usual, she was being over dramatic and it turns out she was lying and that Alpha Noah was actually her mate.
They had been having a hard time because Ellie wasn't very accepting of him, she wanted to travel and he wanted her to be a good mate and Luna. Just like me, he had been trying to find his mate for years and I could tell that the way my cousin was acting was really affecting him.
"Did you have something to do with this?" He accused.
"Of course not."
"I swear to god, Ryan-." He started to threaten me when I cut him off.
"Noah I had nothing to do with this. For god sakes, I just found my mate and I know what it's like to be without her. I wouldn't dare put someone else in that position."
Usually, with me being an Alpha I would never let someone disrespect me, but Noah and I have been friends and allies since birth and I know he was just worried about my cousin.
He sighed. "You're right, sorry. If you happen to hear from her please let me know."
From his voice, I could tell that he was beyond stressed out and I hated how my cousin was acting, I didn't know what I would do if Alex acted the way Ellie did. "Definitely."
I ended the call with him and immediately went to dial Ellie's number. "Hey, Ryan." From the background, I could hear Beyoncé music playing. Ellie was completely obsessed with Beyoncé. On Sunday morning, she would blast her music and sings it really loudly. With our rooms been right next to each other, it was safe to know that I was very familiar with most of Beyoncé songs, and an in the closet member of the Beyhive.
"So, you just going to run away, he's worried sick about it. He thinks I had something to do with it."
"Do me a favor and tell him I'm fine. I gotta go." I tried calling her again but her phone was cut off. I had called Alpha Noah and told him that she had her phone and that he should try tracking it. It turned out that right after our call she threw her phone out the window, luckily they were able to pick up her scent and were currently tracking her. Knowing that she was in safe hands and would soon be found I decided it was time to get ready.
After a week of keeping my parents or more specifically my mom away from Alex, it was finally time for her to meet my family. While I wanted to do a small dinner with just my parents, Lily, Alex and I, my mom wanted to have a party and invite the whole entire pack. I, however, thought that was a terrible idea and would surely overwhelm Alex.
After going back and forth with my mother we compromised on a dinner with no more than 20 to 2 people. The people there would consist of the higher ranked wolves and later in the future we would host a bigger party for the rest of the people in the pack.
Like expected most people in the pack knew about me finding my mate, I knew how nosey people could be so I ordered them not to go near my mate. The party wasn't until later tonight and with it being a Saturday training still going on.
"Excited for tonight?" Tyler asked me. We were in the backyard of the pack house watching the pack train. It was the late afternoon so all the young pups were training while the others had trained with Daniel earlier that morning. When it came to training I was very strict. Everybody had to train at least once a week, even if you weren't a pack warriors. I wanted for us to be prepared at all times. On the other hand, the pack warriors had to train a few times a week and sometimes even daily.
