I shrugged. "My father has always instilled in us to wait for our mate."

"Oh." She looked down sadly.

"Wanna watch some TV," I said in an attempt to change the subject. It was no secret that Alex wasn't a virgin when I met her. There was no point of bringing up the situation over and over again. What was done was done and there was nothing for me to change it.

"Yea, sure. How about Grace and Frankie?" She threw her make-up wipes in the trash.

I nodded and found the remote on the dresser, and scrolled down to Netflix. Once I was logged in I found the show and click on it. We both climbed into bed and cuddled up together. Even with my parents screaming at each other down the hall we soon drifted off to sleep.

The day after we had arrived my father decide that he, my mom, and Lily should return home a day early. My mom was still upset with him and therefore decide that she and Lily would ride in separate cars from my father.

Ellie was upset about them leaving but seem to get over it once she knew that Alex and I would still be staying. She and Alex seem to get along quite well and when Alpha Noah and I were in meetings they seem to really enjoy each other's company.

Days had passed and today was the day that the other packs would be coming. I made sure that Alex was well aware of the people that were in The Moonlight Pack and that she should avoid them at all costs.

"Ryan, I will be fine. Ellie will be there and I sure she won't let anything happen. Plus, there will be guards there."

I could see that she was getting annoyed but I chose to ignore that. Alpha Noah and Ellie had set up a lunch for all the Luna's that were coming, inside the pack house. Noah had restricted that none of the Luna's were able to bring any guards inside the house and would have to stay outside with the others.

"I trying to make sure that you're safe." I pulled her against my chest and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"I'm sure we all are willing to put our differences aside from this, correct?" Alpha John asked. This wouldn't be his first attempt at trying to resolve the issues between Mason and I. I don't think he had at all understood what it was like to have someone be the sole reason of why people in my pack were murdered including some family members.

"If you're referring to me, then yes. I can very well control myself, I can't say the same for others." Mason smirked but not looking at anyone in particular. I could tell that he was talking about me and was just saying that to get under my skin but still I was annoyed by him.

"Gentlemen please let's just he civilized." Alpha Caine cut in.

"You guys are right," I smirked. "This rogue problem is bigger than any beef. Besides, I wouldn't want any more innocent wolfs dying because their own Alpha couldn't protect them."

It was no secret that Mason had recently been ambushed by the rogue's pack and spent a few days in the ER. Alpha Noah had of course come to his rescue and eventually saved his sorry ass.
