"Idiot." He muttered loud enough for me to hear.

"Shut up. Half way here they begin to cover their scent."

"What?" He looked taken back.

"They covered their scent, can't you hear."

He rubbed his hand down his face. "So, you're telling me that they let you chase them and out of nowhere started covering their scent?" He asked, and I failed to see the connection that he was making.

"Yes, why?" My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I caught a scent of two rogues and killed them. They barely fought back."

I shook my head finally understanding what he was getting at. "No."

"They set us up." He said out loud but seemed to be talking to himself.

"We're fucked."

Suddenly the sounds of claps echoed throughout the forest. A guy emerged from behind the trees. I had never seen the guy in my life but for some reason, he looked very similar.

The sound of his claps seized. "Good job Mason. I knew you'll figure it out." A sadist smile took over his face just as we were surrounded by around fifty rogues. Before I could think to attack them a pair of silver cuffs were put on the both of us. Silver made it where neither of us could shift or mind link someone in our pack. Basically, we were defenseless.

"What do you want?" I growled at their leader.

"And Ryan." He turned to me. "I knew your big head would stop you from realizing it." He chuckled. "Always the know-it-all and thinks he is better than everyone else."

It was no secret that I was confident. Confident in my pack and in my leadership. And what I call confident some call arrogant. Yet this man knew this about me and I had never met him in my life.

"Do I know you?"

He smirked. "No, but I know you."

LUNA ALEX

"Is everyone present?" Avery asked the group of women and young children as she paced back and forth in her three-month pregnant form. Even though Avery was only three months she was much bigger than the average human. Apparently werewolves developed much quicker and as a result, they were only pregnant for about six or seven months.

"Where's my mom?" Lily asked coming up to both me and Avery.

We were all placed into a large dungeon-like room. The door was metal with a code protection that only a few people knew. Outside of the metal doors were two guards, while the pack house itself was guarded by about three dozen pack fighters.

"She's here isn't she?" Avery asked before looking down at the clipboard that she was holding. "I thought someone said she was here?"

ALPHA RYAN

"Do I know you?"

He smirked. "No, but I know you."

"Um-..." Mason said waiting for the guy to fill in the blank.

"Max. My name is Max."

"Right. If your beef is with Ryan what do, I have to do with this?" Mason asked and I expected nothing less from this bastard and if we were in the opposite situation and a group of rogues were after him I wouldn't even blink when they begin attacking him.

He looked to Mason with an evil smile. "Oh, you have a lot to do with this." He rubbed his hand together excitedly. "Time for story time."

"You do know that our pack will come for us and they will kill all of you." I threaten him. Tyler was already aware that I was going after rogues and when he eventually couldn't get in contact with me, he would come after me.

"They won't make it, I have more than enough wolves to keep you guys busy, and that's including your allies." He explained.

"Doubt it," I said under my breath. There was no way that he had that many rogues risking their lives for his stupid cause.

"Back to story time." He rubbed his chin with a smile. "There was once a big strong Alpha, by the name of Paul. You guys know him right?" He asked staring directly at me.
