"Is he okay?" I bit my lip trying to keep myself from bursting out in tears.
"He cut the link off. They're going in."

Growing up I was always a patient person but sitting in my mate's office waiting to figure out whether or not he was okay or not was excruciating. I had already called Hailee multiple time and she has still yet to hear anything. Tyler had closed him mind link off so the line of communication between him was closed. We had no way of knowing what was going on down there.
The battle outside seems to be whining down as the sun rose. Daniel had successfully taken out the rest of the rogues on our land while the ones that surrender were put in dungeons where they would probably spend the rest of their lives in. We had counted over a dozen wolves that have died and twice that much that were now lying in hospital beds at the pack hospital.
"Luna." A blonde haired boy bowed to me. "We have about two dozen worth of dead rogues on our land. What should we do with them?"
Not knowing what to say I looked to Avery, "Burn them. Pack wolves' dead bodies should be in the morgue; their families are to make the decision on what to do with them after the lockdown is over."
Nodding he exited Ryan's office. "Thanks."
"No problem." She rubbed her pregnant belly. "It's sort of my job to help you out with things. Sorry if I'm just now being helpful to you."
"It's fine. I haven't been the best Luna by any means."
"You seem to be doing alright in my eyes," I smiled at her.
"Anything from Tyler?"
She paused, "It seems that the fight is still going on. It could be a while." She yawned.
"Can I get you anything?"
"I'm fine, I'm just gonna take a cat nap." She made her way to the couch and closed her eyes and soon the room was filled with her light snores.
My phone rang, picking it up I saw that it was Melissa. "Hey, where are you?"
I sighed, having forgotten all about the restaurant. "There's been an accident I can't come in today."
"Okay well, where's everyone else."
I was at a total disadvantage by going up against this sad excuse of a wolf. I had silver in my bloodstream so it would be a while before I could shift again and to make things worse he had his army of bitches surrounding us. The only person I had to count on was Mason who was probably on the ground crying like the bitch he was.
I immediately threw the first punch, missing Max by a few inches. I was still weak from all the silver but slowly I could feel my wolf coming back. "Good try." He teased before landing a punch to the left side of my face. "Oh, little brother. It kills me to do this to you." Max chuckled standing over me once I fell to the ground.
I stood back up and dust myself off. "I not you're fucking brother. You bastard."
"That hurts my feelings," Max answered sarcastically.
With a smirk on his face, he gestured for me to come on. Growing angrier I tackled him to the ground landing punch after punch onto his face instantly making blood ooze from his nose and mouth. Shock took over Max's face, it was like he was frozen, he didn't even try to defend himself. Using that to my advantage I continued throwing punches at Max. Seeing that I was at an advantage I was pulled from on top of Max and throne to the ground, giving Max a chance to recuperate.
I quickly stood up. "Still, plan on teaching me that lesson?" I teased.
"Just warming up." Max wiped the blood from his face. It was clear that he had underestimated me and that was his third mistake, his first one being killing my father following by attacking my pack continuously.
"I thought this was a one on one fight or you gonna continue letting you little bitches fight your battles."
"I can handle myself." He pushed the guy away before stomping his way over to me. He threw punch after punch missing every one of them. Slowly I could feel my wolf coming back and he was definitely pissed off. He wanted blood and that exactly what I intended to give him.
