Noelle's expression remained cold as she grabbed Teresa's wrist. She questioned in an icy voice, "And what does it have to do with me?"

"What do you mean it has nothing to do with you? You got so tangled up with Samuel and let that scumbag sneak into the dorm. You two were fooling around and dragged my daughter into this mess." Teresa snapped.

"That's right! She's always been obedient and well-behaved. There's no way she'd do something like this. The whole Internet is saying you and Samuel engaged in inappropriate behavior in the dorm!"

Noelle shoved Teresa's hand aside. "Everyone in the gaming club knows that Jessica is head over heels for Samuel. She went as far as to book hotel rooms and spend the night with him. Your well-behaved daughter has been lying to you all along."

She couldn't believe Jessica would even lie to her parents.

"That's still your fault! You knew my daughter was being led astray by that scumbag and blackmailed with videos. Why didn't you help her when she begged you for help?"

Noelle thought Jessica had been lying just a moment ago. Now it seemed clear that Jessica's parents had shaped her personality.

Noelle raised her voice and retorted, "Your daughter was tricked by a scumbag into sleeping with him and had compromising pictures and videos taken of her. She begged me for help, and I didn't help her. And what? Why don't you finish your story?"

The look in Teresa's eyes flickered.

"You won't say it? Fine, I'll help you. Jessica then contacted Samuel and planned to sneak him into the dorm. Plus, she tampered with the water she gave me. That's the real reason she got caught!"

The surrounding students began murmuring among themselves.

"So that's what happened. Jessica is just stupid. Sean has always had a terrible reputation, and she still went after him."

Xenia hadn't anticipated Samatha to be released on bail in such a short time.

Xenia noticed the resentment on her face and slyly added, "I heard that after Noelle reported Samuel, she's now planning to run for the position of the team captain."

"She must be dreaming. The Merlock team is the largest investor of the team, and there's no way she'll become captain!"

"But team captain elections are based on skill. Noelle is pretty good at games, and if you're looking to deal with her, why not let her win? It'll be easier to control her as captain."
