After Noelle spoke, she watched Xenia's face turn pale with shock, guilt, and fear.

Then, she sighed dramatically. "Just the fact you were two-timing makes you destined to fail."

"Nonsense! Xenia isn't someone like that!"

Wyatt immediately defended Xenia and turned to Noelle. "You're just jealous that Xenia has so many suitors, all of whom are better than your broke boyfriend. That's why you're sowing discord. You think I'll fall for it?"

Noelle asked almost incredulously, "Me? Stirring trouble?"

"I know about Justin. He's just one of Xenia's admirers." Wyatt snorted.

A hint of sarcasm flashed in Noelle's eyes as she pointed out, "Oh, come on. Everyone knows Justin and Xenia were dating. He wasn't just her admirer."

Lucas nodded along. "Yeah. They got together right after high school."

Wyatt's expression finally wavered. He turned to Xenia in disbelief. "Xenia, what's going on?" Noelle and Lucas claimed Xenia had dated Justin, and this was different from what Xenia had told him.

Xenia's mind was in chaos. She hadn't expected Justin, the mama boy, to seek updates about her from Noelle. Now, Justin knew she was getting engaged.

She'd barely managed to appease Justin, yet now Noelle had exposed her and spilled everything.

Xenia's expression stiffened, and her face was deathly pale as she turned to Wyatt. "I was never officially with Justin. He just kept telling people we were dating."

Right now, she had to deny everything, or Wyatt would be furious.

After speaking, she pitifully turned to Donovan. "Donovan, I have to apologize to you. I lied."

Donovan's eyes darkened. "Are you telling me that you've never dated Justin?" Xenia had boldly lied to him, too?

Xenia pitifully lowered her head and stayed silent.

Noelle instantly saw through Xenia's plea and shoved her aside. "You're just trying to stop me from exposing the other people you had sex with. Too bad. I'll still say it."

Xenia's face turned ghastly white. No! She couldn't let Noelle expose her!

Without hesitation, she grabbed a fruit knife from the table and pressed it against her wrist. "I swear I know I've made a mistake, Noelle. I can even die in front of you."

Noelle propped her chin on her hand. "Go ahead. I'd like to see you try."

Wyatt panicked. "Don't do this, Xenia! What if you hurt yourself?"

"Wyatt, my presence in the Liddell family has always been awkward. You all are the reason I've survived this long.

"If my death can make things right and bring peace back to the Liddell family, I'll willingly die."
