“What?” Theo was stone–faced, not feeling like he had done anything wrong. 

Ellinor, feeling annoyed, glared at him. “As a man, why did you make an appointment with the gynecologist? Don’t you find that embarrassing?” 

He replied coolly, “I made it for you” 

She understood what he meant. A feeling of caution rose in Ellinor’s heart. She furrowed her brows, trying to appear relaxed 

She forced a small smile, “I appreciate it! But it’s not needed, I’m in perfect health and have no women’s health issues. I’m very healthy!” 

Theo squinted at her, “Really?“ 

Although he found no records of Ellinor seeing a gynecologist in any hospital, he grew suspicious after seeing her throw up for no apparent reason 

Her current evasive attitude only fueled his suspicion. This woman might be pregnant, and it could be his. 

Even if there was only a tiny chance, he couldn’t ignore it. He had to find out the truth! 

Ellinor shot him a glance, “Yes!” 

The corners of Theo’s mouth curled up. “No need to thank me; we were once married. Consider this checkup my treat.” 

Ellinor was dumbfounded 

What the hell?! 

She had heard of treating people to a meal, but not a doctor’s visit! 

Forget it, she didn’t want to argue with this man. She’ll take him to get his eyes checked first, just in case there’s a real problem. 

After his eye exam, she’ll leave. She absolutely won’t go with him to the gynecologist! 

Eye clinic. 

The elderly chief physician examined Theo’s left eye with a flashlight. 

Standing aside, Ellinor asked, “Doctor, how are his eyes? Are there any issues?” 

The doctor put away the flashlight. “Relax, it’s no big deal. It’s just some redness from the impact. I’ll prescribe some anti–inflammatory eye drops; use them three times a day, and the blood clot will clear up in a few days.” 

Ellinor sighed in relief, “That’s a relief. Please prescribe the medication then.” 

With the doctor’s prescription in hand, she went to the pharmacy to get the eye drops. Handing it over to Theo, she asked, “Do you want to do it yourself or should I help?” 

He glanced at the eye drops but didn’t take them, didn’t answer, and just sat elegantly on the hospital corridor chair with his legs crossed. 

Ellinor fell silent. 

He really did act like a king. 

Ellinor chuckled, walked up to him, lifted his chin, and tilted his face upwards to make it easier to administer the eye drops. 

After opening the bottle, she gently pulled his eyelid open and dropped in the medicine. 

“Alright, use it again before bed tonight. Starting tomorrow, use it three times a day. I’m leaving now!” 

As she spoke, she handed the eye drops to him. After finishing. Ellinor turned to leave without lingering. 

However, she didn’t get far before her wrist was firmly grabbed, pulling her back. 

“Where are you rushing off to? It’s time for your checkup now.”
