“Stop pulling my leg Mr. Blanchet! What kind of checkup do I need? I’m not sick at all, so there’s no need for any stupid checkup!” Ellinor med her best to shake off his grip but no matter how hard she tried she just couldn’t She felt like she was about to keel over 

Where the heck did Collin park the car? Why wasn’t be coming back to check on Thea? 

“Elliot what are you so worried about?” 

He stood up and yanked her closer with a firm pull his sharp gaze locked on her eyes as If trying to see through her very soul. 

Fear washed over Ellinor, making her avoid his piercing stare 

“Mr. Blanchet, you’re overthinking this! What do I have to be afraid of? Im just saying that as a married woman, it’s not cool to go see a gynecologist with a man who isn’t my husband if anyone we know sees us, it could stir up a hornel’s nest and tarnish our reputationst 

He scoffed As long as you’re on the straight and narrow, there’s nothing to worry about You’ve got nothing to hide, right? Let’s go, Ms. Mendoza!” 

Let me go, I’m not going Ellinor dug her heels into the hospital corridor floor, putting up a fight. 

But the more she resisted, the more curious he became about what she was hiding. He was almost certain his quess was right. 

Ellinor’s struggle was in vain as he simply scooped her up, not allowing her to resist, and strode towards the gynecology department. 

Just like that, Ellinor was taken to the gynecologist and had a blood test. Throughout the entire process, she had no chance to make a run for it.

Time ticked by, every second felt like torture for Ellinor. 

Before long, the test results were out. 

The doctor glanced at the report and cheerfully said, “Ms. Mendoza, congratulations! You’re going to be a mother!” 

The doctor’s words made Ellinor gasp 

Theo looked at her with a smirk, Ms Mendoza, care to explain about the baby in your belly?”

“She’s just over 20 days pregnant it’s best you refrain from intercourse for some time until the fetus is stable.” 

Theo’s expression went stiff, and the warmth in his eyes vanished in an instant. He turned to the doctor, ‘I’m sorry, did you just say she’s how many day’s pregnant?” 

His icy stare made the experienced doctor shudder. 

“Twenty days! The baby is not yet stable, so you must hold off on any intimacy.” 

Twenty days! 

Theo lost his cool, grabbing the report from the doctor and inspecting it closely. 

Sure enough, it stated that it was an early pregnancy of twenty days.
