I woke up the next day and looked at my surroundings. Everything was very unfamiliar still. I got up and looked out my window to see a beautiful view of the garden.

I got dressed and did my hair, slipping on combat boots, I walked downstairs, seeing a note on the counter.

To my little sister,

I've gone to work. I'll be back around six. There's food in the fridge and there's money in the envelope next to my bed. Go have fun, go see NY, go shopping, go do anything you like to do. Car keys are next to the garage door.

I put the note down and smiled. I went back upstairs and finally put my phone on, seeing messages come through my phone making me cringe.
