I had a busy day, I run a couple of business in addition to a full wolf pack. I'm deep in my work when I get a call from Jace this better be important.

"Yes?"

"Uhh alpha"

"What"

Silence

"What's fucking wrong Jace"

"Nala alpha we can't find her"

"EXPLAIN" I yell losing my mind in a split of a second.

"She went on a walk with Matt and Zach but she ran away from them....alpha that was one hour ago"

I see red "why didn't you call me before. I'm on my way"

I close my phone, I had some more work for today but I ignore it all. Nala is more important than anything else.

I drive like a lunatic who’s high on drugs and maybe drunk too, good thing I’m a good friend with the sheriff and his officers. They know not to stop me when I’m driving like this. This is an Emergency.

My wolf nudge me to tell her everything she deserves that he insists and I start telling her my story

"When I was one hundred and twenty years old, I found my mate she was young only twenty-eight, she didn't even shift yet. But she was my world so innocent with a whole life waiting for her.

I was my dad heir back then, after we mated we were going to be the alpha pair. One day dad sent me away for pack business, she told me she wasn't feeling okay but I told her to toughen up. I left, I left her that same night she shifted for the first time. She couldn't take it, her poor body crumbled she wasn't strong enough and I wasn't there to help her. She died "I ended my story with tears flowing on my cheeks. "I lost my baby once Nala and I'm not losing you too, you're strong you got me and the guys, you are everything for us please Nala I'm begging you don't leave we need you"

Nala is crying too, she looks at me with pain-filled sad blue eyes, she knew how much pain I lived in. Losing her too would be the end of me. What she did next assured me she’s staying, she jumps and hugs me we stay like that for a long time. She breaks the silence "I'm sorry Christian I would never leave you again…I’m so sorry"

“I won’t let you leave, you are mine now, my baby, my mate,” I say in a deep voice my wolf nudging me to say them to claim what’s mine.

I was too afraid my possessive ass scared her but she didn’t mind my territorial claim and just kept hugging me. She needed someone who’ll stay just like I needed her.
