Aidan POV
We were all sitting in Christian office, discussing what we should do with Nala. Jace suggested that we send her back to school but she's been out since god knows when and I don't think she'll appreciate going back. Plus I'm not sending my baby somewhere that I can't protect her there, what if someone bully her or she lose her temper and shift.
Kyle and Kane agree with me, sounding their disapproval.
"She's not ready to go back to human world" Kyle stated
"What if she got attacked again? Or if she gets too scared and changed to wolf? She's not strong enough to hold it back" Kane added, he’s right younger wolves have harder time holding their wolf part back.
"What will the other says when they see they have a wolf instead of a girl with them in class" Kyle says sealing the deal about sending her back to a normal school.
"How about a private teacher she can get her GED and if she wants to go to university next year she'll be with Mathew" Stefan suggested.
"That's not a bad idea, and I got just the person to tutor her" Ryland says having an evil grin on his face.
"Agreed, anyone got any objection?" when we all shake our heads no Christian continues " let's go wake her up and tell her"
Walking to the family room where we left her sleeping I see that she's not there. Maybe she woke up and didn’t want to bother us yet. We start searching around the house for our little girl but we can't find her anywhere.
Ryland calls the guys on patrol and tells them to keep an eye for a little white wolf with blue eyes, maybe she shifted on her own.
We decide to divide and search for more efficacy.
I'm halfway toward the main gaits when I hear a howl, a cry for help. My wolf goes crazy and starts running toward her. Whoever hurt her is dead. DEAD. My wolf agrees.
I come into the clearance where most of the pack little likes to play and hang out. What I see make my blood boil, Nala is on the floor with one of the pack trouble makers standing over her. The second she sees me she comes running and screaming daddy.
For a second I thought I lost her, for a second I was thrown back a hundred years ago when I lost my first baby. NEVER AGAIN.
I try to stay calm and ask what happened, when she informs me that the brat dared to hit her I want to tear him apart, limb by limb.
But when the pack was first established we all agreed not to punish anyone who's not an adult without the presence of his parents and one of us, so we can ensure that nobody abuses his power, no puppy going to dies in our pack.
I tell the brat to go home and start to carry my Angel back home.
I called the guys and told them that she's with me, but we are the first to reach the house.
I don't want to punish my baby but what she did isn't acceptable. What if she didn’t call for help or none of us heard her, we need to make sure she’s okay and safe.
