Brad walked into the study, only to find that Nadine was absent. He realized that he had misunderstood her. Yet, he felt no remorse. Nadine was inherently wicked, and she didn't deserve any apologies or guilt from him.

Brad hadn't said a word since entering Adam's study. In just a minute, he had already mentally mapped out how he would handle Nadine in the future. But alas, with her absent, all his plans were moot.

Adam sat behind a large desk, fuming silently as he observed Brad. He was so enraged that he wasn't sure where to start with his reprimand.

There were so many wrongs Brad had committed. Adam didn't know which one to address first.

After a moment, he glared at Brad and exploded, "What kind of person are you, Brad? How did I end up with a grandson like you? You actually tried to force yourself onto Nad? Do you know that's illegal?"

If he hadn't arrived with the maids in time, Brad would have undoubtedly done it. Adam felt sorry for Nadine and wondered what she did in her past life to end up with someone like Brad.

Though he hadn't witnessed the events firsthand, he knew Nadine had to have suffered greatly, and it was all Brad's fault. He had to stand up for Nadine.

The more Adam thought about it, the angrier he became, and the more he found Brad unbearable. In the end, he couldn't contain his fury. He grabbed a dictionary from the table and threw it at Brad.

"If your mother were watching from up there and saw you like this, she'd come back from her grave to deal with you!"

Mentioning Brad's biological mother only made him more defiant. With a dismissive attitude, he said, "Sure! Kill me! It'd be a good thing if I could join her."

Sometimes, he wondered if she had a split personality. What was twisting her so much?

Upon hearing Brad's words, Adam stared at Brad in complete shock. How could he have such an insensitive grandson?

If it weren't for the fact that Brad was his biological grandchild, he'd have already twisted his head off, drained the nonsense out of him, and put it back on.

"Do you still think it's Nad causing all the trouble? Have you never considered that you might be at fault?"
