While Sean and Nadine were talking, Brad heard their voices and came over. "Who are you talking to?"

When Nadine heard Brad, she quickly said "goodbye" to her son and ended the video call.

Sean looked at Brad with big, confused eyes. "I'm not talking to anyone! I was just reciting poetry. Did you hear something wrong, Daddy?"

When they got home, Brad took Sean's smartwatch away because he knew Nadine would use it to contact her son. Brad's goal was to make Nadine so worried that she would run back to Phoenix Villa just to see her child.

Seeing that Sean was calm, Brad put a hand on his shoulder and said, "Let's eat first."

It was getting dark, and the Hamiltons usually had dinner at 6:30 p.m. Brad had purposely delayed dinner, hoping to wait for Nadine. But… Who would have thought...

Sean's face was scrunched up in pain, and tears filled his eyes. "My arm hurts so much!"

Brad gently lifted Sean's arm, trying to see if he could move it. "Does it hurt when I do this?"

Sean winced, his face turning pale. "Yes. It hurts a lot!"
