"And for those who are spreading nonsense, I'll deal with them using my alternate account. Let's go back to the ward. You stay with Sean while I handle these haters. Watch me take them down!"

Back in the ward, Avery told Nadine to get some rest. She then logged into her alternate account and began taking on the online trolls.

She found the comment from @bigfeast and replied, "It's none of your business! A nosy parker like you might even taste the dump in a sewage truck when it passes by."

She responded to every negative comment about Nadine with equally biting replies.

Unable to counter the backlash, Jean resorted to paying for hired trolls. But hiring trolls was expensive. Desperate, she gave Lynn the set of ruby jewelry Brad had gifted her and asked her to sell it to fund the effort.

Lynn felt a secret thrill. Though she spoke righteously, her eyes betrayed a glint of greed.

Since she needed to have someone she trusted sell off some jewelry, she left Jean's bedside after instructing another caretaker to keep watch.

This new caretaker was unaware of the issues between Jean and Jessie. When Jessie arrived with a fruit basket for Jean, the caretaker welcomed her in immediately.

"Ms. Sawyer, someone is here to see you."

Jean, initially pleased by the prospect of visitors, was dismayed when she saw Jessie walk in. Her expression darkened, and the light in her eyes dimmed.
