Adam had been staying in the hospital for a while now. As he aged, he grew more fond of lively surroundings, especially enjoying time with Sean. This made it hard for him to tolerate the hospital.

"Also, call Nad. Don't mention the birthday party for Sean tonight. Just say I need to see her and ask her to come keep me company."

Since Brad and Evelyn weren't attentive to Sean, Adam decided that he, as the great-grandfather, would take on that responsibility.

Travis could see that Adam was in a good mood today, so he wisely didn't disturb him and set about following his instructions.

She had already found Sean's birth certificate and Nadine's prenatal records. Now, she just needed to identify Nadine's romantic partner during that time and get a hair sample from him to compare with Sean's. This would prove he wasn't of Hamilton blood.

Once she had that proof, she could kick Sean and Nadine out of the Hamilton family, and no one would dare oppose her.

The birth certificate she obtained didn't align with the timeline of when Brad and Nadine met. Based on that alone, it was almost certain that Sean wasn't a Hamilton.
