Daniel usually kept busy with work, and with his severe high blood pressure, he particularly disliked arguing.

Whenever he got into an argument, his blood pressure would skyrocket, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.

For the sake of his health, whenever he sensed an argument brewing, he would avoid Evelyn.

Recently, he and Evelyn had been giving each other the silent treatment. The cause of their disagreement was Nadine and Sean.

Evelyn was adamant that Sean wasn't a Hamilton, and she even urged him to find a way to get a DNA test done between Brad and Sean.

But Daniel had no interest in these matters. He genuinely liked Sean and Nadine and just wanted peace and harmony in the family, with no arguments.

He outright refused Evelyn's request, thinking she was making trouble out of nothing. Both he and Adam firmly believed that Sean looked just like Brad did when he was a child, so a test was unnecessary.

Although Sean resembled Nadine more, his small gestures and expressions were exact replicas of Brad's.

In Daniel's eyes, Evelyn was causing trouble for no reason. Thus, the couple had been giving each other the cold shoulder for some time.

Today was Sean's birthday. Daniel didn't want Adam to notice the tension between him and Evelyn, nor did he want to continue sleeping at the office or in hotels. So, he decided to clear things up with Evelyn and told her to stop stirring up trouble.

It was clear, however, that Evelyn hadn't taken his words to heart. Not only did she show no sign of backing off, but she also shouted at Daniel, "What do you know?

"I've checked Nadine's prenatal records and Sean's birth date. They don't match up at all! When Nadine first got pregnant, she hadn't even met Brad yet!"

Evelyn was no fool. She knew the potential consequences of this matter blowing up for the Hamilton family. She desperately wanted Daniel to be on her side and join her in dealing with Nadine.

To convince Daniel to support her, she showed him all the evidence she had gathered, practically showing all her cards.

After ending the call with Adam, Daniel called Brad. Brad, who was sleeping on the couch, frowned as he answered the phone.

"What?"

Upon hearing his voice, Daniel realized that Brad had been sleeping. Enraged, Daniel shouted, "Have you lost your mind? Do you even know what day it is?

"How could you forget Sean's birthday? You're his father! How did I end up with such an unfeeling, heartless son like you? Do you remember how Nadine took care of you when you were sick back then?

"I'll ask you just once. Are you coming to Sean's birthday dinner or not?"

Suddenly wide awake, Brad shot up from the couch and shook his groggy head. "Yes, I'm coming!"
