Chapter 822 novel Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton
Nadine grabbed Brad's coat and headed to the hotel's front desk. "Excuse me, have you seen a tall, handsome man leave wearing just his pajamas?"
As soon as Nadine described him, the receptionist recognized who she was referring to right away. He pointed in the direction Brad had gone in. "He went that way."
Nadine thanked him and hurried after him. No matter what, Brad had gone out of his way to bring Sean to Pittsbrew, and she owed him for that. Yet, before she had a chance to repay his kindness, she had upset him and driven him away—it just didn't sit well with her.
Consequently, she followed the direction the receptionist had pointed out, searching for Brad.
It didn't take long to spot him because he was clad in nothing but his thin pajamas, sitting on the bench along the street, smoking. Even though he was wearing pajamas, he somehow carried the air of a runway model, as though he was wearing designer loungewear for a late-night fashion show.
"I suppose only Brad could make pajamas look this good," she thought wryly. From a distance, she couldn't make out his expression, but the way he sat—legs crossed, cigarette dangling from his fingers—radiated elegance. Even from afar, she could still see the frown on his face.
It didn't take long for her to reach Brad, standing just a mile away from him. Through the smoky haze, she noticed him looking her way, his eyes bloodshot. "What are you doing here?"
He haughtily turned his head away, refusing to look at Nadine. Yet, his face was practically screaming, "Comfort me! Right now! You're not leaving until you do!"
Nadine extended his coat toward him. "Here's your coat. I came to give it to you." The truth was, if she weren't worried about him catching a cold and passing it on to Sean, she wouldn't have bothered coming out at all.
