“Oh…? Taboos you say…? If he has any issues with what we’re doing, then I’ll just let him stay at the old mansion,” replied Zivon as he pulled her into his arms, prompting her to go speechless.

…As always, this domineering man wasn’t about to bow down to anyone… In the end, she sighed before giving up. In all honesty, she was glad to be in his arms. After all, she had been running up and down the past few days just to learn new things from Teacher, and it was exhausting, to say the least. Now that she was safely in his arms, Xavia found herself quickly drifting off to sleep…

Though she slept soundly through the night, Zivon himself had a tiring one. After all, he had initially planned to teach her a lesson in bed so that she’d stop trying to drive him away. Alas, since she had fallen asleep so quickly, all he could do was endure through the night…

Fast forward to the next day, Zivon was no longer by her side by the time Xavia woke up. Had it not been for his lingering scent, she’d have assumed that their meeting last night had all been a dream… While she was slightly disappointed by his absence, she reminded herself that it was a luxury to even be able to see him right now.

With that in mind, she patted her cheeks before getting herself ready for the day…

His question instantly made her cheeks go red. Come to think of it, since Harold’s guest was Zivon and Zivon wasn’t even aware that she was here… Didn’t that mean that the old man had set them up?

Shaking the thought off, Xavia quickly replied, “We didn’t do anything to defile your place, Teacher.”

Xavia, for one, was well aware that the elderly absolutely hated when young people messed around near them. It didn’t help that they were currently in such a grand place of learning!

Regardless, upon hearing that, Harold stroked his beard before saying, “Do remember that Zivon is my nephew, and I wouldn’t be against calling him my half-son either. Because of that, sleeping with him in my home is far from a defilement. In fact, I’ll be honest and say that I’d be happy if you two provided me with a grandchild…”

“Putting that aside, I also hope that you two won’t end up like me and your grandmother… Then again, I also have reason to not worry as much. After all, Zivon’s a pretty good man, and if you’re able to move him, then he’ll love you unconditionally… You’ve truly made a wise choice in choosing him…” concluded Harold.

Either way, upon seeing both of them together, Xavia couldn’t help but lower her gaze… To think that Zivon would be out buying clothes with her when he had slept with her last night… Then again, people were still going bonkers about their relationship, so it was the right play for him to accompany her to buy clothes… In other words, Xavia knew she shouldn’t be jealous.

After taking a deep breath, she smiled subtly as she replied, “…Indeed. Teacher said that he’d be bringing me over to the National Arts Festival tonight, so I figured that a cheongsam would be appropriate for the event. That aside, you look really good in that, Miss Harrison.”

Smiling in response, Sophia then said, “…Thank you.”

Before the two could say anything else, Zivon added, “What a coincidence. Chairman Harrison got this cheongsam for tonight’s event as well. Regardless, This shop’s owner used to be my classmate. With that said… Rowena? Could you please get a suitable cheongsam for Miss Lockhart? You can just put the bill on me.”

Not only had he just explained why he was here with Sophia, but he had also told his classmate to take good care of her…
