It was about three minutes later when she received a reply that wrote, ‘I’m at the office. Busy.’

During his time in M Country, Nathan had helped Zivon choose an office site back in Aplos. After all, Zivon needed to establish a new company. The company itself was currently in its preparation stage, and it’d hopefully open soon…

Putting that aside… The fact that Zivon had gone straight to his office meant that he had chosen not to return at all… Hell, hadn’t he only been in his night robe when he left? Was he that keen on not seeing her last night? Determined to get to the bottom of this, Xavia quickly had her breakfast before telling Wendy to take care of the kids. Following that, she headed to his company with a delicately packed lunchbox…

Upon arriving, Nathan went wide-eyed as he asked, “M-miss Lockhart? What are you doing here?”

Frowning slightly at how uneasy Nathan looked, Xavia couldn’t help but wonder if Zivon was doing something flashy in his office… Was he… with another woman? Gulping slightly, Xavia was prompted to mutter, “…I’m here to hand Young Master Burton some breakfast… If he’s that busy, could I trouble you to hand it over to him?”

After hearing that, Nathan paused for a moment… before ultimately sighing as he replied, “…He’s fine. Go on in and give it to him yourself, Miss Lockhart… Though, before you enter… Could you please treat him wholeheartedly for once…? If you can’t do that, then just break up with him already… I really can’t see what’s so appealing about Charlie!”

Watching as he shook his head before turning to leave, the confused Xavia quickly asked, “…I beg your pardon? What are you even talking about, Mr. Miller?”

After saying that, she opened all three layers of the box… The first contained a few heart-shaped fried eggs, while the second had beef steak and some vegetables. The final one contained a colorful risotto, and together, it looked simple, but nutritious…

Zivon, for one, hadn’t been hungry at the start, but after realizing that she had made the meal herself—through its distinct scent—, he snorted before heading over to her and taking a seat… As he began eating, he didn’t tell her to leave… Instead, he simply ate, and ate, making the atmosphere quite awkward for Xavia…

Knowing that it’d be rude to question him as he ate, she ended up waiting by his side till he finally finished his food… It was around then when he finally said in a rather monotonous tone, “How did you get here? Should I get Nathan to send you home?”
