Not wanting others to learn of her bet, Xavia simply replied, “Well, since it’s all glum in the hospital, I figured that you’d appreciate a smile! Jokes aside, I carefully selected some fruits and healthy snacks that you can munch on during your stay. I have some flowers as well.”

Feeling slightly guilty with how kind she was being, Wade muttered, “…There’s no need to be so kind to me, Xavia…”

He wasn’t a good person, and he knew it. Thankfully, Xavia didn’t catch his guilt, and she simply replied, “Oh please, you’re technically in this state because of me! With that said, it’s only right that I get you this much! No need to be polite, alright? Also, feel free to request anything from me.”

Since Zivon had been busy ever since he picked that call up yesterday and she didn’t have anything to film today, now was pretty much the perfect time for her to make it up to him.

Regardless, Wade couldn’t help but force a smile after hearing that. If only she knew that all that had only happened because of the drug… He really didn’t deserve her kindness…

Meanwhile, Zivon himself was currently in his lab, looking through a few documents with a stern expression. It was a while later when he asked in an icy tone, “…How could you not locate her when you have her number?”
