Fucking hell, he had already verified that Xavia was herself! Why was he starting to doubt himself again?! Shaking his head, Zivon then lifted ‘Xavia’ in his arms before saying, “…I’ll take you to the hospital. As for Jenna… Lock her up for now. I’ll be back later!”

“O-of course, Young Master Burton!” replied the guards as they breathed sighs of relief. That bitch had almost ended their careers…! Once Zivon had left, they unceremoniously began dragging Xavia back to her cell.

Xavia herself was far too beaten up to put up a fight. She, for one, had noticed Zivon’s presence… and despite her best efforts to move and speak, she simply failed to get him to learn the truth. In the end, he still couldn’t tell them apart, huh… Her train of thought was cut short when she heard several angry yells.

“She actually did such a thing to Miss Lockhart?! This psycho is on another level!”

Moving back to Zivon, he began examining the burn marks on ‘Xavia’s’ skin after placing her in the passenger seat. It took him a while, but he eventually asked, “Why did you come here alone? And why did you drug me?”

Feeling her heart skip a beat, Jenna replied, “I-I wasn’t planning to drug you… That was my drink, and I had planned to use it to help me sleep before you took a swig of it… That aside, how did you get up…? Was the drug fake…?”

Staring straight into her eyes, Zivon replied, “The Great Lady came over and woke me up. That aside, you should know that my body is resistant to sleeping pills.”

…Fucking hell, why was the Great Lady being so kind to Xavia?! Her kindness was going to potentially ruin everything! Clenching her fists in the dark, Jenna pursed her lips before saying, “…I see. Sorry for making you worry… God, it stings…”

Naturally, he had to make sure that ‘Xavia’ didn’t know about this. After all, if his intuition was wrong, then it’d surely sadden her. However, if his intuition was correct, then at the very least he’d be able to get things done without letting Jenna know.
