With the stench much worse than before, Jovan ended up hitting the brakes! Tossing her out, Jovan growled, “Though the Grand Duke ordered me to send you to the airport, I refuse to drive someone as revolting as you any further! You make me sick!”

Cara ended up hurting her knees after getting tossed out, and she was about to cry when she saw Jovan drive off!

“M-Mr. Presley, wait…! M-my bag and money are still in there…! D-damn it, my stomach is hurting again…!”

Fast forward to eight that evening, Xavia finally finished the move. Handing Whitney the keys, Xavia said, “Here. Don’t worry, I didn’t touch anything in there.”

“Efficient. I like it! Then again, you’re only returning what’s rightfully mine,” replied Whitney who was clearly implying that Zivon belonged to her as well.

“Oh, I’m sure the house is yours… But there are some things that will never be yours, no matter how hard you try,” scoffed Xavia.

“You…! Listen up, Zivon will be mine at the end of the day, and that’s that!” retorted Whitney with a prideful sneer.

Smiling subtly, Xavia replied, “Sure he will… Anyway, I apologize for not being as talkative as usual… His kiss last night was so passionate that my lips still hurt a little!”

Naturally, Whitney immediately began trembling in rage! Unable to even retort, she simply bit her lower lip before running into the house!

Since she didn’t receive a reply even after a while, she couldn’t help but wonder if he was really that busy. Was he ignoring the rules she had set for him back at the hospital…? It took her a while, but she eventually sent another message that read, ‘I want to meet you before I leave, so come home soon!’

With that message sent, she headed to the study to look for the memory card… but as she was looking around, the light suddenly flicked on, revealing a hulking figure!

Screaming in shock, Xavia was just about to grab a book to attack the person when she heard a familiar voice ask, “Xav?”

Slowly turning around, she realized that it had been Zivon all along! His poker face made him harder to read than usual, and after catching her breath, Xavia muttered, “…You were home this entire time…? Why haven’t you replied to any of my messages…?”
