Just as she was about to throw a tantrum, she noticed Nathan in the distance. Quickly walking up to him, she then grabbed his arm before saying, “Mr. Miller…! Please tell me why Zivon still cares so much about Xavia after all the atrocities that she’s committed…! No matter how kind I am to him, he never even looks me in the eye…!”

Sighing in response, Nathan replied, “I can’t say for certain either, Miss Baun… However, you should know that the three other women who asked that question… Well… One died, and two ended up in jail… Well, one of them is leaving in a few days, but still.”

…He was talking about Jenna, Sophia, and Fiona, right…? All strong women who still ended up failing… No. She was different. After all, Zivon truly had feelings for her back then! She knew it! Why else would he have spent so much time and effort looking for her before this?! The only thing blinding him was Xavia and those kids! “…S-she’s currently staying at Sir Ian’s villa… Little Master and Little Lady are there too…!”

Glaring at them, Zivon replied, “Tell him that I’ll raze this building to the ground if he doesn’t release my wife and children…! He has three minutes…!”

The guards knew how tyrannical Zivon could be, and they also knew that he was a man of his words…! With that, one of the trembling men quickly ran off to notify Ian… and shortly after, the Grand Duke made his appearance.

Though Zivon was in his territory, he had to admit that the man was radiating a terrifying aura. Steeling his soul, Ian asked, “…So, you finally remembered about them after three whole days, huh?”
