Though Zivon could feel her dedication, he ultimately replied, “…Even if you had asked for my hand in marriage back then, I probably wouldn’t have accepted it. It annoys me to say this, but I’d probably have preferred Jenna more than you.”

While it was true that the woman he wanted had to be independent and outstanding, he also wanted a partner who would always be there to care for the family. Since Stella would naturally choose to be out in the field, he could already tell that they were never meant to be.

“You may not have said the same thing back then. Anyway, take this. We’re getting off here,” said Stella as she tossed him a parachute.

Frowning slightly, Zivon replied, “…Are you for real?”

With that, he prepared to leap out of the helicopter… but seconds before he did, his eyes went wide. After all, Stella had leaped out first… but the problem was, she didn’t have a parachute on! This prompted him to instinctively leap out as well, and thankfully, he was able to catch her. Alas, since he was now carrying the weight of two people, his parachute wasn’t able to properly function! One wrong move and they could die here…!

“Have you officially lost it, Stella…?! If you want to die so much you could’ve gone without me…!” roared the infuriated man as he desperately attempted to fix his parachute.

Rather than feeling aggrieved, Stella simply smiled as she replied, “Don’t you find this exciting…? This was what I felt when I first saw you all those years ago… And I know you share these feelings of mine.
