Had any other adventure-loving man heard those words, they would’ve surely been swooned by Stella’s speech. Alas, Zivon wasn’t some nobody, and after squinting back at her, he icily replied, “…Do you know how tempted I am to just drop you off right now?”

Naturally, his response startled her. Was he not moved at all after everything she had done…? Pursing her lips, she eventually replied, “…Are you just saying that because you don’t want to admit that you’ve fallen for me?”

“I have nothing more to say to such a thick-skinned woman.”

Before Stella could even reply, Zivon suddenly let go of her! In that second of imbalance, Stella saw her life flashing before her eyes… but thankfully, she was able to snap out of it in time to cling tightly to his body!

Now as pale as a sheet, the horrified woman yelled, “Y-you actually let go of me…?! Don’t you realize how high we are…?! Had I not caught you in time, I could’ve easily died-”

“So you’re aware. Then why didn’t you put on your fucking parachute before leaping out? Even if you died, I’d be completely innocent, and I think the people would agree as well once they learn that this is all essentially your fault!” interrupted Zivon without the slightest remorse.

Knowing that this was his best shot to make things right, Zivon replied, “You know what I want. Stop coveting me, and don’t even consider ruining my wedding with Xav. Also, if you want me to help you land in one piece, I’m sure you know what to say to your grandparents, correct?”

Now brimming with rage, Stella instantly roared, “You know what…?! You’re absolutely right…! I was stupid for even falling for such a sociopath like you…! The second we’re on the ground, we’re parting ways for good! In fact, if you ever show yourself before me again, don’t blame me for attempting to kill you…!”

“You better keep your word, Miss Gordon,” scoffed Zivon as he scooped her into his arms… but only moments later, he flipped her around!
