To her surprise, it was only seconds later when she received a call from Zivon! What was even up with this man? Just as she was about to head to the balcony to answer the call, however, she was pulled back onto the bed by Dolly who said, “Just answer it here! It’s a rare opportunity for us to listen in as well!”

Before Xavia could reply, Bianca had already placed a blanket over Xavia’s back while adding, “Yeah, plus it’s freezing out there, so just stick with us!”

Knowing that she wouldn’t be able to escape this time, she sighed before picking up… and the second she answered the call, she heard him ask, “Did you seriously just say that to me?”

With how hoarse his voice was, Xavia took a moment to reply, “…I mean, I just-”

“Say that one more time and I’ll start our wedding right at this very moment…!” growled Zivon who genuinely sounded irked, leaving Xavia rather speechless. She could tell that he was mad by the latter part of her comment, but that was clearly just her being spiteful!

Following a subtle sigh, Xavia replied, “…You know I never meant it seriously, Von…”

“D-Dolly! D-don’t listen to her lies, Von…!” exclaimed the shocked Xavia.

Alas, before she could even reply, Zivon replied, “Mm… Of course she’s lying… Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to check in on your progress tomorrow night…”

…Damn it, there was no escaping her fate, was there…?! Now feeling her insides burning up, Xavia grumbled, “…W-we’re getting married tomorrow, so we should both get some early rest!”

Chuckling in response, Zivon replied, “Fine, fine… See you tomorrow, Mrs. Burton…”
