Feeling like she was going to melt if she stayed for any longer, the embarrassed Xavia was quick to say, “…Bye…”

“Bye who, hmm…?” asked Zivon, instantly causing her to clench her fists. Even if he wanted her to call him Mr. Burton, her friends were literally right next to her! She couldn’t just say such an embarrassing thing!

In the end, she quickly replied, “I-I’ll call you that tomorrow night!”

Before Zivon could reply, she had already hung up… and just as she thought that the crisis had been averted, Dolly teased, “Look at our sweet little Mrs. Burton all embarrassed!”

“Indeed! The attractiveness of his voice seems to skyrocket whenever he talks to you… You must literally be the happiest woman on the planet, Xavia!” added the smiling Bianca as she held Xavia’s hands.

“I’ll say. Who wouldn’t be happy knowing what she’s about to experience in bed!” said Dolly with a chuckle.

…Though she was thoroughly embarrassed by her words, Xavia had to admit that she was looking forward to Zivon’s promise… So this was happiness, huh…?

Fast forward to around midnight, Xavia, who had fallen asleep, was awoken by Dolly yelling, “Hey, wake up, Xavia! There’s going to be a firework show!”

Before she could tell Dolly to head back to bed, she had already been dragged out by both Dolly and Bianca. Knowing that she wasn’t going to get any rest for now, she sighed before putting her coat on and following them out…

Since the palace had been built on high ground, looking out from it would give one a panoramic view of Darlsbury. Looking at the city lights glinting in the distance, Xavia couldn’t help but yawn. She really wanted to head back to bed… Just as she was about to bring that up, however, a single firework suddenly shot up into the sky before exploding into what appeared to be the number ‘3’…

“This just in! The ones in charge of the operation just made an official statement saying that nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine fireworks were used!”

“Bloody hell, not even the Olympics made things this grand!”

“Right?! God, my jealousy is overwhelming right now…!”

“No point getting jealous, I’m sure this is already the greatest wedding of the century… Sadly, there’s only one Young Master Burton across the globe!”

As the citizens went on and on, the astounded Xavia continued watching silently by the window…
