It was Fiona.

Raising a slight brow, he slowly picked up… and the second he did, he heard Fiona say, “Zivon? I’m having some dinner near your place, and I was wondering if you’d like to meet up for a while… I have some information regarding Xavia…”

“…Come again?”

“You’ll know once we meet up. Also, while you could choose not to come, I believe that even you feel that something has been off with your wife in the past two days…”

Before Zivon could even reply, Fiona had already hung up. Though it was clear that she was up to no good, he had to admit that Xavia had been behaving slightly odd recently, especially with how stubborn she was when it came to taking contraceptive pills…

Glancing in the direction that Xavia had left, Zivon paused for a moment before sighing. Barely a minute later, he was already on a cab to Fiona’s location…

By the time Zivon arrived, Fiona had already finished her meal, and two cups of coffee were left on the table. Upon noticing Zivon’s presence, she was quick to say, “Congratulations on your marriage, Zivon. Now then… let’s get straight to business. Basically, my friend told me that your wife bought contraceptive pills at her shop, and she even saw her swallow one.”

Before Zivon could even reply, Fiona had already taken her phone out to show him a chat log of her conversation with her friend. As it turned out, Fiona hadn’t been lying, and she had apparently even bribed her friend just to prevent her from spreading the news around. In a way, Fiona seemed to be protecting his and Xavia’s privacy from the public.

Startled to find out that he didn’t already know, Fiona paused for a moment before saying, “…Indeed. She got into his car that night, and she only left the vehicle about two hours later… I thought you knew since it happened in front of the palace… Here, a photo as proof.”

As she showed him the photograph, Fiona really hoped that he wouldn’t ask why she had the photo in the first place. After all, she had been hiring several people to stalk Xavia for the past few weeks!

Regardless, the photo did indeed show Xavia entering Mark’s car… At the time, she only had some pajamas and a thick coat on, and since her face was lowered, he couldn’t exactly see what she was feeling… Even so, she felt oddly sneaky about it…
